I don't mind Conrad, but there's only so much BS from his stars I can take. Prichard and Bischoff are never going to admit fault, Bruce is never going to say Vince was wrong and will defend the indefensible to the bitter end, and I've no reason to expect better from Jarrett. I'll defend Bischoff. I think he's a tremendous listen when he does let his guard down and plays it straight. Sure there's plenty to BS but he's got a charm to him, like Nash that you kinda don't mind it Bruce's show kinda stinks since he started back with WWE due to fear of pissing people off and morseso, him sounding exhausted and disinterested Yeah, I generally don't mind Eric except his Meltzer bashing (seriously, I think some beef happened at a Starrcast or something). But Eric does provide valuable insight about WCW and what working in sales/television is like. I equate Russo/Bischoff as two versions of a car salesman. Russo's the stereotype: bad suit, slick back hair, will try to get you on his side to sell a car. Bischoff is much, much smoother. He has read books and he understands the psychology of selling and marketing. He will get you to see why you need a car.

I want Von Erich stories. I want steve Austin USWA stories. I want to hear his version of the, "F*** you, Randy [Hales], you've never even been in the ring!" story Foley told.

This the same Bishoff constantly saying Bret Hart is the worst champion of all time yet he gave that same worst Champion a pretty big contract 🤷♂️ talksport.com/sport/wrestling/849340/eric-bischoff-bret-hart-least-successful-wwe-champion-history/

Can literally anybody besides Conrad start doing these podcasts, please? Dude’s gonna be hosting Demented and Sponsored by Groose Wipes and their podcast before long.

Also insists he hired Bret as a draw for Thunder.

What is the origin of the "well you know quote" I always thought it was Jerry Jarrett because Bruce did a skit with making chicken salad. But every other time I heard it with Meltzer. So is it both guys or did Bruce just add the quote to his Jerry Jarrett skit this one time? Edit: Also every time I heard "well you know" it is done with the accent, so does Dave have that accent?

Thanks guys, I guess it was Jerry Jarrett. I do also recall seeing on these boards that "you know" was used on occasion with Meltzer.

His podcasts are reaching unlistenable status. Ads are literally every 5 minutes and the best one, STW, started to suck a long, long time ago. JR is a rambling old man. Angle is good but the ads make it impossible to listen to. My drive to work is about 30 minutes, in traffic, like 12 without. I shouldn’t hear anywhere from 3-6 ads in that space of time. And I absolutely refuse to pay him to make them go away. I just check out. You’re not driving sales, you’re driving me away. There really aren’t that many ad breaks. Just hit the +15 seconds button a couple times and you’re golden. And Something to Wrestle is still very good, just sometimes depends on the topic.

Didn’t realize Conrad had so much hate. I’m apart of ad free so I don’t worry about ads. Look forward to his TNA stuff.

i like Conrad, and know he has a affection for ECW, im amazed why he hasnt gone down that route....i could see Bruce taking time off/hiatus until he eventually gets cut again and he'll have more stories....Arn is very meh....Like JR's once he lightens up a bit, Eric's as im a marketing graduate and his business talk is interesting...Tony's is fun when youve nothing to listen to and Angle's is alright

And there he goes with another remix so he can pimp his Jarrett pod. I wouldn't be so down on them if it wasn't the same old show with Conrad cutting in to say stupid stuff. Like get Jr, Tony, Eric or any number of his "friends in the industry" to tell stories about Jeff or dispute what Bruce says. Would be infinitely better than him giving opinions on things he wasn't a part of.

I get that, but Conrad has tons of wrestlers phone numbers and five or six co hosts who all have history with Jarrett. It's not hard to ask the cohosts to talk about Jarrett for a minute, or even ask them abour specific claims or events and intertwine it with the original podcast. Again, I'm interested in hearing from people who were there or had dealings with the subject of the remix. If I wanted some random dude's opinion, there's a hundred websites including this one for me to peruse.

I've listened to the first couple of episodes of this and Jeff is obviously an interesting guy with stories to tell, so it's engaging. However. Conrad talks over him so much! And he can't just ask a prompting question and let the man talk, like "So what happened with X?" He has to be like, "So what happened with X? Was it ABC or more like XYZ? Or a little bit of both? Chat me up about the situation with X." JUST LET HIM ANSWER THE QUESTION. /end rant.

Finished Holding Up Vince this morning, about an hour into Fired on National TV, I am enjoying this way more then I expected. The only Conrad pod I listen is the odd JR episode but Jeff is a really interesting dude. Don’t think I’ve ever really listened to any shoots with him, I’m probably gonna keep up with this for a bit. Well, it’ll be like JR’s, if I’m interested in the topic I’ll listen but likely won’t listen to all of them as time goes ob

Fun to hear to his take on stuff but it’s not really ground breaking stuff. Angle just went along with anything not wanting to upset anyone.

Thanks for the reminder! Got distracted by Jim Jeffries pod.

Yeah I was all excited Mance Warner had a show on there but its behind a 30 dollar paywall with a bunch of shows I would never listen to. I have no interest in listening to Eric Bischoff or Bruce sounding bored, it’s fine when there’s a funny story on Botchamania but I couldn’t listen to more than ten minutes.

I thought it was a good first show and I liked hearing from Jeff's perspective on his last days with WWF in 1999.
