www.showbuzzdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/2021-Apr-13-TUE-Final-Cable.pngDid 805,000 viewers and a 0.22 demo, coming in at #8 for the night. By comparison last week's show was 768,000 with a 0.22. Interesting that the demo didn't rise, but good the total itself did. Hopefully it can sustain or even grow on that, little hard to gauge what the norm will be from this one show, especially coming off of Mania.

If they can keep that number and raise the demo to be consistently in the top 10, it'll only be beneficial to USA for any potential schedule they want to build.

Got a rise but not by as much as one would assume especially coming off of Mania week but considering this was their first night on tuesday as said we wont really know where the viewership settles in untill atleast 2-3 weeks from now IMO.

Really curious about the quarters. Did it start low because people weren't used to the night? Did new viewers come in and stay? A lot we can learn this week although we'll need a few weeks of data to see where the norm really is.

What's interesting to me is that its the same 150-200k people who are flipping between NXT and AEW, it seems.
When they dont run against each other, that's about the number they each gain/lose depending.
That would indicate to me that both are going to struggle to grow, as for whatever reason the typical WWE crowd arent tuning in to AEW, but equally, the core AEW fans aren't willing to try out NXT either.
It seems at the moment that both sides are going to need to do much more than just not running against each other to grow, though we'll see what AEW gets tomorrow.

I mean AEW was created pretty much as an alternative to WWE and a lot of things they do are very opposite to WWE,so it really wouldnt surprise me there is a lack of crosssover besides "I like wrestling"

I really thought NXT would at the very least crack 850k viewers this week with the Wednesday Night War over

It as I expected broke the top 10 in demo, which it did when it aired on Tuesday last time as well
It's hard to pinpoint this number because they're still coming off a move and some fans could still be confused or unaware. The number rising through the weeks will be interesting to monitor, but that demo is real key, instead of being like 20th they're 8th
Curious of the breakdowns, even more so how AEW will do in comparison since unlike NXT they're staying in the same spot.

Still a good number, and some people may be burned out after a 2 night Takeover (with AEW on one of those nights), Smackdown, a 2 night Mania, and Raw. That's not even counting the Hall of Fame, and the Broken Skull Session with Jericho. A lot of wrestling content.

I'd say if they can reach between 800-850k a week with a top 10 demo, that's a good standard to keep regardless and USA would be extremely happy with that.

0.22 demo is still typically better than what they did on Wednesdays that weren't special events. If that's their new floor, it's a really good sign for NXT.

Quarter hour data for NXT courtesy of Wrestlenomics. They got decent bumps at 9PM and 10PM:

I'm really happy for them and AEW. I wonder if they'll keep up a positive trend.

I'm really happy for them and AEW. I wonder if they'll keep up a positive trend. As we get closer to NBA playoffs that may cut into the numbers

I'm really happy for them and AEW. I wonder if they'll keep up a positive trend. AEW's presumably going to keep trending upwards. The Challenge ends after next week, that's the top demo of Wednesday, that's 900ks viewers then up for grabs in that timeslot. Even if a fraction of that goes to AEW, they could be on top Wednesday Nights. Someone said Playoffs could cut into their viewerships, that's possible, also depends on how close the games are. NXT has room to go upward. I assume when more people realize it's on Tuesday now, that may help, along with bigger programs, since they kinda came out this week with not a bad show, but a show with not a ton of bigger names on it, then again, some of those names might be gone forever, need to see Smackdown. In which case, they'll be in a bit of a rebuild mode, but again, there's room to grow, make new talents, bring others up the card, etc. They're a top 10 show on Tuesdays, it's a good spot for them to be in. The whole "War" ending is just good for wrestling. And the first weeks results show more than anything that it was a dumb venture to begin with. I'm really excited for the future.
