It’s mostly online.
They do a lot of limited runs or pre order exclusive figures.
If you one your of favorites is unavailable wait a few months they might release another version.

There’s a show called Half-Pinter Brawlers you can get on DVD on eBay.
Does that help?

Can anyone explain to me what micro brawlers are all about? Who makes then? Are they just small figures of former wrestlers? Where can I see a list of all wrestlers that are available?

This is a good thread to say that the Randy Savage one I ordered months ago finally got shipped and I’m excited it’ll be my first one.

They’re really more of a means to an end to get people to subscribe to the Pro Wrestling Crate. I did, and ended up getting a limited release chase variant Owen Hart, so I stayed subscribed and subsequently got a Super Shredder Kevin Nash.
The best way to make sure you don’t miss out is to subscribe to PWT’s text message notifications. Yeah, it can be annoying, but you never miss out on the (usually hilariously limited) window to order the limited edition ones. I got a Mastodon Vader and a Macho Man Lime Green variant that way.

Yeah the more I learn about them the more confused I am. They are more limited edition than I thought, though guys like Macho Man get like 15 different limited edition releases. So some go crazy up in value, others just stay around the same price. Theres a few check lists you can find online but some are a few months out of date. That being said I ordered Danhausen (with cape!) and Ill hopefully get it sometime this summer.

Alright, let me explain these.
Micro Brawlers are miniature immovable posed figurines of wrestlers. They are stylized for a great resemblance and were initially only available in limited runs/waves from Pro Wrestling Tees when they could be ordered directly from the website, and there would also be limited edition once-a-month exclusives that would only come in PWTee's monthly Pro Wrestling Crate box.
As the Crates picked up in popularity, it made the earlier ones and the crate exclusives all the more elusive. The two rarest being X-Pac and Billy Gunn which had cease-and-desist orders sent almost immediately as soon as they went up.
Being very wrestler-friendly, PWT gave the wrestlers themselves a bunch of the Micro Brawlers made in their own image to sell at shows as part of their merch. They became a quick cheap easy-to-carry space-conscious way to support your favorite wrestlers.
Seeing the popularity grow, Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling licensed their own waves of Brawlers made for their roster. This year AEW did the same.
The AEW line, along with the Mastodon Vader and aforementioned Randy Savage brawlers, represent a shift in their Micro Brawler release strategy. Instead of just making a fixed amount forever, they have pre-order windows where everyone who wants one can order one, but when that window closes, that's it.
The Vader window was promoted for a month and only lasted 24 hours. Danhausen's window was a full week. The Randy Savage windows were only announced the day-of-release and each color had only a two hour window as an "Experiment," with texts/emails not being sent to every subscriber. You had to keep checking the site.
I'm not a diehard "gotta catch 'em all" type, but during the pandemic I've gotten really into decorating my new apartment and love pairing them with autographs. Below is a shadowbox I made of a Taya Valkyrie 8 X 10 with a brawler that I think looks neat.
So yeah, the ways to get them are:
- subscribing every month to Pro Wrestling Crate (which I did for two years, more info on that in the wrestling subsciber box thread)
- subscribing to the PWTees text and email lists to be alerted of flash releases
- going to the stores of promotions and companies that they've licensed
- eBay

They are basically those Figural keychains you can find in the store as a fun impulse buy, only you have to jump through hoops to get them and eBay prices make it utterly inaccessible to most people to get into the backlog of prior releases. I think they'd do very well in checkout lanes with the right roster, but the blind bag nature would be a hard sell to some folks.

It seems they are making any character or look they want from any promotion. Do profits go to the wrestler/estate? I just think about how mattel can only make characters licensed by and approved by wwe. Curious about cease and desist making me think they are just producing Whoever they feel like and keeping the profit??

Nah, Pro Wrestling Tees works with damn near every non-WWE promotion and wrestlers, they're legit.

What's the story with cease and desist from xpac and Billy gunn? Was that from wwe for name rights or something?

No, every single one is fully licensed through the promotions, wrestlers or the families themselves. Pro Wrestling Tees have the direct communications to make that happen.

Yes, Martha approved the Owen Hart figure and the Owen Hart shirts that they sell. And yes, it was because of the name rights for X-Pac and "Badd Ass" Billy Gunn.
