This seemed inevitable considering but still in the Top 10 for the Demo is pretty good.

Yikes, the president’s speech dominated everything last night. Not a bad rating going up against that.

Looks like the news dominated this week.

This was expected. They got smacked pretty hard being on directly against the President. They were the #3 non-news show this week, which can still be seen as pretty good and the difference in demo between them and The Challenge was only about 20k or so. Assuming there aren't any news-making events of national interest next week at the same time, they should bounce back.

This was the last of the challenge this week also right? I believe so. So in theory, AEW could be number one next week.

Without the news, it would most likely have done similar to last week. I wonder what B&G will do rating/demo wise.

That rating would be considered a great rating when NXT was competing with them. In fact the rating probably would have been worse if NXT was on last night and NXT would have been killed if it was still on Wednesdays.

We all knew this was coming. I even said it. The Biden Speech and the last week of The Challenge definitely did a number on their second hour, I would guarantee it.
Next week has the potential to be number one, and potentially set viewership records. Not really a shock this was a holdover week to get us to the big event.

The fact that they still cracked 850K+ given the competition is encouraging. I suspect they’re gonna bounce back with a vengeance for Blood & Guts.

Think in terms of what they did for the first hour, show was structured well enough where the bigger stuff was up front so people can catch up and see the Darby match on DVR like how Cena/Styles/Ambrose started that one No Mercy because of the debate later on in the night.

Yeah, like, it’s still a good rating overall (I’d argue the rating for NXT is good too considering that’s in rebuild mode right now), it’s just interesting how the complexion is now that both shows aren’t against each other.

I can't imagine how bad the numbers would have looked if there was still a "War" going on. NXT might not even have charted...

This is a successful rating without a huge news event taking away viewers. I also think the 8pm ESPN game did really well with younger people, and TNT doesn't mind it's show coming in behind the NBA.
Maybe The Challenge people will be looking for something new next week and see Blood and Guts. Does Challenge have people bleeding in a cage? If it's not Ridiculousness, I'm not checking MTV.

Looks like Joe Biden's a draw, brother! Joe Biden locking MJF in the Tax Bracket submission hold confirmed for next week.

Looks like Joe Biden's a draw, brother! He drew a 81,283,098 rating last November. I feel like I'm breaking some rule making this joke.
