I hate to admit it, cause I’ve always been a fan of Jericho. He’s always seem to still be able to look decent in the ring the order he has gotten, but he’s declined so much so fast that it’s sad to see. Tonight was very noticeable...dude was the last in and did absolutely nothing during the match. He was just standing around walking real slow, made me think maybe he had a legit injury. He did a couple of Walls of Jericho and threw a few punches but it was sad to see him move around so slow and looking so lost. And the “big bump “ he took at the end was maybe the safest bump he’s ever taken...almost laughable when you see the replays . I love Jericho, but it’s time for him to step away as a regular wrestling talent. Very noticeable tonight

Do we really need to have yet another "Time for Jericho to retire" discussion right now?
Can we not just like... enjoy the night? Enjoy what we just witnessed?

It's been very noticeable for the past year or so. I don't think it was enough to drag tonight down really but he's been living in slow motion since the second OC match.

Anti-AEW troll gonna anti-AEW troll. The next thing he says which isn't hyper negative about AEW will the first. Why do you come in here when you don't like or watch AEW? It's embarrassing. Why don't you retire trolling this board?

I didn’t even include once Jericho got on top of the cage and just completely forgot to hide the blade, not be calling spots so obviously....calling for the low blow. You can see the razor in his rigut hand the whole time MJF has him in the arm bar. He looked either drunk/lost/injured or just having zero motivation. It’s sad

Let’s just have an all purpose “retire Jericho” thread so we don’t get a new one every week.

You can enjoy the night and what you just witnessed, you can just ignore this thread, I don't think it's time for Jericho to retire but this is a discussion board and people should be free to put their point across.

Just feels baity, and we've had this discussion before, it went nowhere. Bringing it up now when what Jericho did tonight as fine and he did his job perfectly for MJF, just doesn't feel productive to me. If he had actively like blown multiple spots and the finish in the match by all means, but he really didn't

While I don't think it's time for him to retire, someone (Tony Khan, the 37 EVP's, Sting idk, anyone) needs to give him an ultimatum. Shape up or go elsewhere.

I just didn't see it that way, I just didn't think a "He needs to retire right now" thread was needed, especially considering he's probably going to be out for awhile after the end bump

Age catches up with everyone, and a 50 year old man who’s showing signs of considerably slowing down in the ring, should not be a full time wrestler and competing on a regular basis

His last few matches were multi-men where MJF carried, the Harwood match where Harwood's really sold himself as a ring general lately, and this I feel like he IS actually becoming more of an attraction as time has gone.

No, it isn't time for Jericho to retire. He may be a slower veteran, but he's still one of the most well known wrestlers in the world, and I didn't notice a lot of things people saw. It was an enjoyable match, and I thought Jericho did well.
