Jericho slowly staging into a Sting-like role makes sense and, in all honesty, seems to be happening. Most of this feud of promo heavy with him really talking up his guys.
He had a good match with Dax the second week of April for the Tyson thing which was a "big ratings" event for the company but beyond that its skirmishes and backstage stuff that's easier to handle.
I figure he'll get there. He was the "guy" for the first year to get attention and use his name and as the company expands they'll want to use his abilities but he won't have to be as active (the tag teaming is another sign they were letting him slow up, I feel).

Just feels baity, and we've had this discussion before, it went nowhere. Bringing it up now when what Jericho did tonight as fine and he did his job perfectly for MJF, just doesn't feel productive to me. If he had actively like blown multiple spots and the finish in the match by all means, but he really didn't But like lots of people didn't like the ending you're kinda acting like "I didn't see any problems so it couldn't possibly be bad," like I'm not calling you out or anything, I like your posts but sometimes it feels like you're a bit too overprotective of AEW. I feel like most peoples complaints are the ground Jericho landed on didn't look "Real" enough, which idk what they wanted them to do, he still fell like 20 feet. I didn't see many people angry at Jericho's overall performance? Maybe I just ain't looking in the right places.

Time to finish the next Fozzy album already, Chris. "Judas" has gone a little stale as an entrance theme.

Haven't watched the match yet but I def don't like how you can't criticize something in AEW without being called a troll or anti fan of the product, this ain't that serious folks but I digress
Got to gauge it for myself but Jericho has been going down the rabbit hole for a year. He can still get it done as a vet but his mind in the business is def worth more than his body. Dude needs a break to get himself in better shape

I wish they painted the underside of the cardboard he fell into and shot it differently. We all know it’s gimmicked, but they didn’t do a very good job of helping us to suspend disbelief IMO. I’m sure he was happy to be safe but the whole smile, wink and communication at the end didn’t help but that was on the production crew.

I really thought the smile and wink was him trying to tell the fans he was ok. Through all of it. MJF won the battle, but he made a mistake... he let Jericho live.

Jericho is nearing the tail end of his career but tonight he was pretty serviceable.

And even if it was for the crew, it's nice to know your guy didn't y know, get seriously hurt.

He’s slower but fine. To be honest I want Jericho vs. Sting, in some crazy cinematic masterpiece. Maybe this will write him out for a little while and he can be some attraction match vs. Kenny or teaming with Christian. I think he still has a role to play but his best days are past him.

Like, he isn’t botching everything and dragging others down but he isn’t exactly as nimble as he once was. Write him off for a bit, have him lose one on one to MJF definitely when he comes back and have him serve a different role as an attraction and the backstage role he has and it’ll serve him well.

This type of match was the perfect way to hide his flaws. I think he may have one or two legit singles matches left but it’s clear he’s at the tail-end of things and should continue his trend of being in tag matches.

I find Jericho tends to be at his best these days when he's responding to criticism. After the NBA twitter crowd jumped on him.. after his one terrible Lion-sault...
He gets fired up when proving people wrong.

Why did the OP blame Jericho on something that was the camera mens fault?

Why did the OP blame Jerichon something that was the camera mens fault? He didn't? I mean, if you read the post back, I don't know if there's anything specifically cited in the OP that was the fault of production.
