I have to say at this point I don't think Mox needs to beat Kenny, he needs to go to therapy and learn how to let things go.

Heel beat downs are fine as long as the face gets moments to shine or the end game is a feel good moment. I think we have all been conditioned for the moment that clearly was built to be a feel good moment to be a clean win for heels and that can be deflating. WWE, TNA, and late WCW all did it. To AEW’s credit, they’ve been good with the payoff of the bad guys getting their comeuppance to end feuds. Some might think they go overkill with the feel-good booking, but I kinda prefer it to the endless misery train that seems to be WWE these days.

I was having a hard time caring about this feud six months ago, much less at this point after how much of an utter moron Moxley's been made to look like at every opportunity and how utterly pointless it dragging on this long has been since it has no bearing on what Kenny's doing at the next PPV anyway. I'm hoping they just give Moxley and Kingston the tag titles for a little bit mostly just to get Mox away from the main event scene for awhile.
Really what I kind of expect to happen is for them to win the belts then relatively quickly lose them to FTR. The Pinnacle kind of needs some kind of belt to keep up their momentum and if he can't go after the title right away, looking to get his win back over Mox wouldn't be a bad place for MJF to go after the Inner Circle stuff is wrapped up.

A exploding barbwire death match should be a feud ender. Botch pyro or not they both should have moved on from there.

Well this thread may be mostly about ragging on this feud as a whole but I'd just like to timestamp and share the Kingston promo about it from Elevation this week cause holy f*** was it good.
Love Kingston a lot, obviously, but the dude just sells you on a story so well. Him becoming AEW's heart in such short time makes me very emotional.

That is a great promo! I kind of wish that narrative was the one we actually got on screen!

When are Jurassic Express and PNP getting a reign? Luchasaurus had a reign, about 65 million years ago, if that counts. I'd love it if Luchasaurus challenged Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. All of those striking combos! He hasn't just had that many singles matches yet sadly.

Now all I can think about is how at home the Butcher would look in a gallery of pre WW2 US presidents.

Low key, the Teddy Roosevelt/Taft team up, break up, and feud was pretty much a pro wrestling feud.

I'm just saying I prefer Kingston's promo narrative of what happened to the Bucks over what we actually got on-screen, which was less compelling.

Fair enough, but hopefully this means the narrative is shifting. I think Mox/Kingston vs The Young Bucks has the makings of a great match

William Jennings Bryant really shined as a Manager of State after not being able to break the glass ceiling as a talent

At least if feels like the transfer of the feud from Moxley to the Bucks is now complete. I know those guys are part of the same stable but this should feel a little different.

I look forward to whatever wild street fight Moxley/Kingston and the Bucks find themselves in at DoN.
