I love that woke culture has gotten so out of hand that there had to be a female clone of a male included in the show to keep everyone happy Yeah, remember when they announced the show and everyone got mad that all the main characters were male? Oh wait, that didn't happen. You're one of those people that think a company or writer deciding to be more diverse on their own means they got cancelled aren't you? I can tell because actual woke people don't even refer to themselves as woke anymore. Only people who are against diversity use the term woke to cry about stuff.

It's especially prevalent in the Battletech setting where the Clans have been cloning for centuries and deliberately introducing variants like that. I always thought that clones were 100% replicas

I always thought that clones were 100% replicas This is something fiction has always gotten wrong. The few cloned animals IRL have all been distinctly different in appearance to the animals they were cloned from. Likewise, a human clone would probably look similar to the person they were cloned from (think a sibling or close cousin), but would not be an identical twin. Star Wars gets cloning spectacularly wrong in a most obvious way - the clones' accents. Accents are a product of learning how to speak in an area where one accent or dialect is dominant over others. Realistically all the clones should sound like Kaminoans. As far as the show goes, all of the Bad Batch are different from the regular clones. Much like them (and Boba Fett before them), Omega was engineered to not be a regular clone.

My only gripe so far has been the Star Wars trope of adult helping space orphan or lost child every single thing they do has this

I guess I didn't notice it before, but anyone else get a Rambo vibe from Hunter?
If he has an ending scene where he's walking off by himself, and "It's a Long Road" starts to play, I won't be surprised.

That or I wasn't really paying attention until Ahsoka returned to Anakin.

Well, there were a few characters in the books that fit that trope even better but at least Hunter is on a visual medium. Oh, and Disney didn't make him non-canon.

New episode. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I think the scene of the proto-Stormtroopers gunning down civilians has to be one of the darkest things in Star Wars.

The last episode was interesting for a number of reasons:
1) It showed us a Kaminoan planet that potentially wasn’t devastated by industry-induced climate change. Perhaps they abandoned the planet before they caused its polar ice caps to melt too, turning it into a wildlife refuge? I can’t think of any other reason not to restart that facility when the Clone Wars started.
2) It showed the original purpose of Kaminoan cloning technology; cloning Kaminoans. It also shows what happens if you don’t maintain the Spartii chambers while the clone develops. Yuck!
3) Kaminoan technology seems to stay relatively functional for very long periods of time, even without proper maintenance.
4) It’s interesting that the Kaminoans are at cross purposes. It’s not like a Kaminoan to get emotional about a clone. What I don’t understand is the Prime Minister being so eager to kill someone who could be a valuable asset in the future. I’d like to see what happens if Boba learns that is his plans for him or Omega. (Also, Jango has two children that the Kaminoans named Alpha and Omega? That’s punny.)
Lastly, this episode created a new mystery.
5) In the first episode it was stated that there were five genetically modified clones, which Tarkin took to mean the entire Bad Batch. However, Echo doesn’t count, so everyone thought that meant Omega was the 5th. This episode, however, highlights that she is special because she wasn’t modified in any appreciable manner. That begs the obvious question: Who’s the fifth modified clone?

I think Boba is the modified one. He was modified to give Jango exactly what he asked for, a son. Not a child, a son.

I hope we get the showdown between him and Cad Bane we were suppose to get in the Final Season of Clone Wars.

The show's been good so far, but I've gotten too used to the 6-10 episodes a season format that Disney+ usually does. This sixteen episode season feels like it's taking forever to get anywheres.
