In the past we've driven to Poughkeepsie and taken the train in. I've driven Albany to NYC plenty, and we go Albany to Jamestown a few times a year, but NYC to Buffalo sounds like torture.

Have a feeling that Arthur Ashe is gonna sell a lot of tickets for AEW... it's such a unique venue and it's a special event so you KNOW the cards gonna rule.

Ashe is such a unique and beautiful venue. This is the type of thing that lends itself to being less corporate than the competition. Corporate always means more risk-averse and less imaginative. This venue with the roof open just as the sun is setting could be one of the most unique visuals AEW has ever had. Really pleased with Tony's vision so far.

Since this is post-All Out, could see this card having Hangman’s first AEW Title defense — assuming the plan is for him to win the belt off of Omega in Chicago in the first place.

You know what I'll call my shot now. Arthur Ashe Stadium will be booked around Hangman defending his world title against Okada

Guess this is as good of a thread to post this Q as any... Who has experience with transportation from Chicago proper out to Hoffman Estates for All Out? My brother and I are planning our trip but the issue of transportation is a big hinderance. It either will cost a lot more money to rent a car/uber or be a big inconvenience to use public transportation (with no guarantee that it will be running when the show is over). I really really want to go but this seems to be a major hurdle. We've only driven there from NW Indiana, so I can't really help. I hope you're able to find a way there.

The NJPW MSG show pretty much sold out, even if it was heavily scalper-based, and AEW is a hotter product.

So, I saw something about them coming to NY I am very tempted to go to that depending on the date September 22. Same day as a Raw I attended at MSG in 1997. Austin’s first stunner on Vince.

Yeah if these numbers are an indication Arthur Ashe is gonna sell like hot cakes.

Meltzer mentioned that they originally sold 12K for Newark and made refunds possible given it got rescheduled. They're still at 9K sold so still a good number and I don't think that will preclude people buying tickets for the Queens show given they made that purchase a while ago and being at the first wrestling show at Arthur Ashe Stadium is a really big deal.

I also don't think AEW will have an issue re-selling the 3K they lost to refunds for Newark at these paces.
