Riverdale is still gonna continue? I tapped out months ago. I watched 1 episode into the time jump and just kinda forgot about the show.

La Brea and The Big Leap both seem like the result of drunken bets.

Anyone watch the new Wonder years? How was it? I liked it. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it was solid.

Anyone watch the new Wonder years? How was it? I liked it. It wasn't anything groundbreaking, but it was solid. I know some people felt that doing an A-A WY = just Everybody Hates Chris. Did you get that vibe? Was there any indication that the new characters live in the same neighborhood or near the same region that the Arnolds did? Just curious about possible Easter eggs in this series. And I'd crave a TWY multiverse, actually. Didn't see it, as I am pretty much not watching current sitcoms at this time.

It did kind of feel like that, but I only watched a couple episodes of that and never really got into it (no idea why since everyone said it was really good). I didn't get any "Easter Eggs" but I probably wasn't watching closely for any. I'm going to keep watching.... I'm interested to see how it does. Like I said, I didn't think there was anything groundbreaking so I don't know how the ratings will look going forward. The episode ended up being set around the day of the assassination of MLK. The way they handled that did feel very "Wonder Years", IMO, so that was good.

Like you said, it was handled much like the original series, and that scores some points. I'm looking forward to the season.
