What is even left on there anymore? There's almost nothing left of any worth watching.

They are taking a bath on this like Krusty with his restaurant on an unmanned oil rig.

For what its worth the article does say "At the time of writing, it's unclear if these series are leaving for good, or if their streaming licenses need to be renewed with HBO Max."

That's probably what's happening because that just happened with The Flintstones and some Looney Tunes shorts, I believe? I mean, it's ridiculous because you literally own them so all these licensing agreements are just weird things companies do to make it seem like money is flowing around when it's just going around to each other but still.

Is there any serious reason why Space Ghost is being taken off? Do they really think any other service would spend money on that?

Dunno how streaming "ratings" are figured out...maybe it's just not performing well if that's it? Nah, makes too much sense for WBD. I'd guess, being from the 90s, some eps. don't age well. Is that it?

Boy, I hope they don't remove all this old content from their streaming service in the wake of a strike preventing them from making new content.
Oh.

They're gutting Discovery Plus right now. A lot of the old content is gone. I'm assuming it's to migrate to the new MAX servers or to populate the WB TV service that's coming soon. Disappointed that I don't get my What Not To Wear fix when I want it.

So they're removing Metalocalypse right after announcing a movie? So is the movie going to be a reboot of the series? Are they going to be a funeral doom band in this one?

It’ll probably be back by the time the movie comes out. Like, again, all of this is super silly but that’s licensing deals and all that. Especially when you have several deals with international services and stuff.

Certainly hope it's a temporary thing because the Cartoon Network section is a ghost town now as it is and removing seven more shows would make it virtually pointless to even keep around.

Disappointed that I don't get my What Not To Wear fix when I want it. The one good thing about MAX is I assume this is the case and as such, Food Network content will go there. Which will make keeping track of the "[X] Baking Championship" shows easier.

This is nothing new to the WB entity in its many forms. See also: the Bat-Embargo.
