Yeah, what’s the deal with this thing with her and Deville not putting her in the ladder match already? Don’t know what to think, because being gaslit by an authority figure Daniel Bryan-style could just as easily lead to getting the rocket strapped to you as it could lead to absolutely nothing.

Why does Sonya hate Liv so much?

Yeah, what’s the deal with thing with her and Deville not putting her in the ladder match already? Don’t know what to think, because being gaslit by an authority figure Daniel Bryan-style could just as easily lead to getting the rocket strapped to you as it could lead to absolutely nothing. If Mandy was in Liv's place in this storyline it would make a lot more sense and would actually be pretty good storytelling with Sonya using her power to mess with her former rival. Liv and Sonya really haven't had any history so it just leads to a lot questions that they likely won't care to ever answer. Why does Sonya have such a bug up her ass about putting Liv in the match? Why has she let two others clearly less deserving (one of whom hasn't wrestled in months) a spot without having to earn it? Unless it's like Bryan where the Authority see Liv as an unworthy "B+ player" and will constantly try to knock her down in favor of chosen ones they want to succeed. I get what they are trying to do in that they are trying to make Liv more sympathetic which is fine. However it really doesn't add up. I will say I am intrigued to see where it goes and I think if they handle it right this could be what finally gets over the hump. I think the fact that she's winning makes me more optimistic that they have a plan in place for her that could lead to something as apposed to nothing which unfortunately is more often the case with storylines like this. Honestly I think her getting screwed over and not making the match could be what's best for her in the long run. Like say next week they do the same deal. Sonya puts someone else in the match without having to do anything, Liv comes out and rightfully gripes, match is made, Liv wins. Go home Smackdown a triple treat is made for the last spot between Liv, Natalya, and Tamina. Sonya assures Liv if she can win she'll have the last spot guaranteed. Tamina and Natalya work together throughout the match but then inevitably argue over who gets the pin and start fighting each enabling Liv to take advantage and win again. Sonya then comes out and says "she's sorry but she has to win one more match right now to qualify and it's AGAINST ME!". Sonya wins easy over a worn out Liv to get the last spot. Then at the PPV in the late stages of the match Sonya is climbing the ladder and is about to win when Liv runs out and tips the ladder over. It would get a guaranteed big pop and would be much better for her then just being another body in the match who isn't going to win. Also it would take the risk away of her getting a disappointing crowd reaction which I could see being possible thanks to her entrance music which is too quiet and isn't conducive to get fans into a face and there also being women in the match who are a lot more established and also very over that would most likely out pop her like Alexa and Asuka. Then afterwards them being well "I guess it didn't work" and any plans for a push going out the window.

Well, four weeks ago she was half of a jobbing tag team (sob Ruby Riott) and now she has their casual net fans practically demanding she gets into the MITB match so it's probably working well for her so far?

Why does Sonya hate Liv so much? She's mad that Liv is bi but isn't into her.

I haven't been watching that closely but is Sonya turning heel again? This all sounds like something a heel GM would do.

Why does Sonya hate Liv so much? The Riott Squad Ride Along had Ruby calling Sonya. Liv, loud and brash as she is, reminisced about how the Squad and Absolution debuted the same week. Sonya hung up on her. Liv: "Ohhh, she hung uuuuuup! What-a-biiiiiiitch!" (Best I could do. I laughed so hard at that.)

It would've put The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield to shame!

It's too bad we never got that Absolution vs. Riott Squad match. It would've put The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield to shame! Didn't Paige get hurt like 2 weeks into it? Yes. I found it funny and so typical of WWE with how lazy they were with it. They debut a three woman heel team on Raw that created some buzz as Paige had been off TV for like a year and a half and they put them over really well in their debut as they pretty much beat the crap out of everyone. Then they completely negated it by debuting another three woman heel group on Smackdown with the exact same design (goth looking leader, brunette enforcer, pretty blonde fall girl) in a lazy put together one minute backstage segment where they just showed up and beat up Naomi and Becky for some reason. If Paige hadn't got hurt I'm sure they would've had some sort of face off in the Rumble which was the main reason why both of the groups were put together in to begin with as they needed bodies to fill out the match. It seemed to really effect the booking of that match as all the other girls in the two grous sans Ruby who got a solid showing were non factors and didn't do much. Mandy, Sonya, and Liv were all eliminated pretty quick. Sarah actually lasted a long time for some reason but didn't do anything. I also remember there was even one point where the two factions were coexisting as Liv and Sonya were working together and bullying Lana around before Michelle McTaker came out and tossed all three of them.
