It's funny you posted that as I was thinking of a believable way Liv could beat Ronda and the finish to that match is what popped into my mind. It wouldn't' take away from Ronda or come off that ridiculous because it would be as a result of her getting outsmarted and letting her guard down. Then after the match you can have her turn heel by destroying Liv like Diesel did Bret. It’s a fine line to walk these days though, because winning with a rollup can easily get interpreted as “WWE THINKS MORGAN IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN WITH HER FINISHER” and Rousey beating her down post-match can easily get interpreted as “WWE IS BURYING HER JUST FOR HEEL HEAT”. With any other opponent I would agree but getting a clean pinfall win over Ronda I don't think is something people would complain about regardless if it was with a rollup and if there was a post match beatdown. Nobody has pinned Ronda clean yet. Becky technically didn't really pin her as they botched the finish and she got her shoulder up, Charlotte it was a screwy finish where Ronda got a visual tap out on her first, and Liv it was via MITB cash in after she was hurt. So I think most people would be cool with it as pinning Ronda straight up in itselft would be huge for Liv just because it would be a major upset and nobody has ever done it. |
