Good to see Liv at SmackDown, picking up the W heading to Elimination Chamber. It has been almost a month without her. ' will see how they'll book her on Monday... Enjoyed watching that Street Fight of hers against Shayna Baszler at some house show. Wish that one was televised.

I hope this gets some time. They had a singles match against each other a few years ago that I recall being quite good (and Liv has gotten better since then).

If Asuka wins again (which why beat Liv twice in the span of a week after her Rumble performance), then part of he expects a swerve in the Chamber match.

They’d be telegraphing Asuka winning a bit too hard perhaps.

Match was pretty distracting to watch 'cause of the commentary. Wish Liv had not tapped out so easily. Though with two L's now against Asuka, surely do Liv gets the last laugh? 😜 IF NOT SO: stupid, stupid mistakes as far as who eats the defeats in booking decisions.

Either this is leading to a swerve or she has picked up backstage heat for some reason because this sudden depush is just super odd. Following up a runner up Rumble finish in which she was in for over a hour by having her get tapped out twice like a punk in a go home week to a big PPV match is really strange and stupid booking.

Though where that leaves Asuka for a big Mania match is a mystery, unless it's going to be her vs. Liv vs. Belair in a Triple Threat somehow.

Someone on another board said it nicely, Liv is the living embodiment of 50/50 booking. They do stuff to build her up. Only to then knock her back down again.

I mean it is noteworthy that she did an interview talking about how she wants to do thumbtack spots and stuff, which isn't PG. Odds are pretty good she could have caught heat for that. Her constantly pitching extreme spots probably isn't endearing her to creative backstage.

It was taken from Ryan Satin's podcast. I also don't feel like they aren't going the Liv route because no one buys her as a threat to Bianca, where this repackaged Asuka is one. You also have to remember that they've been teasing a Liv/Raquel team for awhile (even before the Rumble), where if Asuka loses the Chamber, its likely she's not making the Mania card, which would be death for this repackage. As Asuka has clearly shown she isn't a tag team kind of wrestler now.

I could see that being her hamming it up for the interview to put over her character. I seriously doubt she really wants to get dropped on thumbtacks or go through a flaming table.

Liv does have a clearer Road to Wrestlemania if she loses then Asuka does if she loses. Unless I guess they maybe have Asuka destroy Carmella to finally get revenge for that terrible 2018 feud. Probably a big reach but they've been giving Carmella a lot of focus since she's come back so I don't think it's that far fetched. Honestly with how she's been booked lately it wouldn't surprise me if Liv maybe doesn't even make the card. Unless I guess they have her and Raquel team up mainly just as a way to get Raquel on the card and to have someone who can do the job to protect her. Then it could maybe set up Raquel turning heel on her to set up a feud similar to when Rhea turned on her last year.
