Got a link there? Can’t seem to find anything on the Twitter or whatnot. Disregard. The tweet was from an account made deliberately to look like the official WWE one. My apologies.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Dude’s not going anywhere high on the card in a hurry.

I do love, as someone pointed out, we're way closer to the possibility of Dorado/Danielson on a completely different stage somewhere then we were Metalik/Bryan when they were both in the same company for years.

Mascara Dorada was one of the top luchadors in the past ten years and the best WWE could think to do with him was put him in a comedy stable

I'm guessing there's going to be another mass round of releases tomorrow because it's the last Friday of Q3.

Gran Metallik definitely needs to get out of there. He was one of the top Luchadores in the world when they signed him and they NEVER used him correctly and only saw him as a comedy jobber.
They wonder why they can't make "The next Mysterio"

To be honest I don't think I've ever seen a second of Gran Metalik that gave me an opinion of him greater than, "This guy exists." Even in the CWC he was one of the most underwhelming people there.

Same. Guy is no doubt super talented but there really was nothing else to him....now alot of that can fall on WWE for giving him absoloutley nothing to do because I am not sure what he was like outside of WWE but he it always felt like he was just a great in ring talent and that was all there was to him.

They can't find interesting things for half the roster, let alone a dude who doesn't speak English.

They never use Gran Metalik, but when he does show up for 2 minutes (like in that tag turmoil) he always comes across as someone who should be used far more.
Not as much as Angel Garza, who couldn't have more potential written on him if he was Eddie Guerrero's reincarnation, but still.

I'm not gonna write off a dude WWE never let speak or do anything. He was a spectacle every time he got in the ring, I'm sure with more freedom he could impress even harder. WWE is just not the place for a guy like him, and he feels like a vestigial presence from Triple H's aspirations for a division and a show that was never to be. Some people are just not made to be booked by Vince McMahon

I always felt Metallik and TJP were just panic signs because the CWC was supposed to be the introduction of Kota Ibushi and Zack Sabre Jr to WWE.... and both decided not to sign
