They did fire Test while he had a broken neck. So anything is possible with health-wise issue employees. Road Dogg is tight with HHH so he ain't going anywhere. Just wish he wasn't one of the Q-pilled morons. If Wuertz's and Dream's release have been any indication, _nobody_ who's historically been a fave-rave of Triple H is safe at this point, no matter how long you've been with the company or what your role might be. If you're an ongoing problem that the company has to "handle" from a PR standpoint these days, you're vulnerable to "budget cuts." What happened with the NXT cuts is a sign, most likely, that talent acquisition and retention are no longer solely or even primarily Trips's prorogative. If more are coming, I'd suggest that they'll reflect that even more strongly.

Was that not from a bodybuilding competition, where bronzer'ing yourself super dark helps show off your muscles on stage? The problem here is that Ryker captioned it on Instagram with the following... Ryker is the one that decided to invoke an 80s movie where a white guy gets really tan and qualifies for a black-only scholarship. On its own, it's just a bad joke, but when coupled with everything else, it's hard to look past him sporting blackface just because it was for bodybuilding when he's the one who made the connection first.

I was just going to say that and this is a rather sad fact but the WWE has too many people on their roster. There is no point locking up people into contracts when the wrestler either won't get used or will be wasted on the main roster or in the PC. I don't want to see anybody lose their jobs but you can only hope that the ones that do end up landing on their feet.

They could release 25 people and it wouldn’t be one bit noticeable

If they're going to release people, they need to stop having tryouts and put a cap on stuff. If they're so adamant on keeping people, it needs to be much better structured.
Hell, the time they were releasing people this week, there were rumours of more tryouts which...like, what? Why?

Sounds like it'll be a bunch of backstage cuts today.

This... doesn't sound like a company making record amounts.

This... doesn't sound like a company making record amounts. By now, honestly, I think they are bleeding more money than we realize. No live shows and touring have got to be hurting them more than they are letting on.

I...don't think they'd lie to shareholders like that without, like, a massive stock sell that would hit the bottom line worse. If anything, this is usual for companies that make a lot of profit because they want to keep making money and make as much as possible.

I know people don't think it's possible but I'm like 90% sure this company's getting sold in the next 5 years. They're doing all of this to make it look as attractive as humanly possible to investors. Bloomberg's even picked up on it with all of the other consolidation happening in media lately. With a valuation of about $3.2 billion right now, WWE's actually one of the larger independent entertainment entities left.

This... doesn't sound like a company making record amounts. Honestly, yes it does. Companies will post record profits while also trimming out vast amounts of jobs, because cutting people out and reducing the operating costs of paying people for jobs helps keep those record profits coming in. It happens across all industries and even in situations where there aren't record profits, but not necessarily any financial struggle to be worked around. WWE is trying to crank its numbers up even higher through streamlining and major cuts so they can squeeze even more mileage out of the huge deals they've inked and all the big money they have coming in, making everything look even more impressive, because short term destruction for as high a gain as you can get is what the system is structured to reward.

Possibly not "no chance" as once was but there isn't really anything, right now, that would make it appeal to companies that others have done. I also think there would be Google-buys-YouTube style ramifications in terms of lawsuits and such because, well, they are being backed by a bigger company with way more money.

It's really f***ed up and happens in way too many sectors but that's the reason.
