Harland is shocking just because he was touted as this big time prospect and look alike to Lesnar...and he was promoted heavly by Paul Heyman...awww shit he was doomed from the get go.
Persia is surprising but also does not bode well for Indi ,Dexter and especially Duke because this kills their story they had going and for Duke that dude is never gonna be able to catch a break...remember when he was in the hurt business for like a week or maybe it was someone else...poor Barrett no more Duke dreams for him.

Got things to say but maybe best to focus on remembering the positive matches and work Dakota and others provided before looking at the poor use of them. Least how I feel right now. But really don't know what to say, just processing this like everyone.

I have nothing for the Persia release. Just utterly baffling.

Bivens is well on his way to being one of the best managers in wrestling history. He’s going to land on his feet without a doubt.

This is a developmental brand my dude, they're supposed to teach them, and preferably teach them for more than a few months Doesn't really make any sense to me why you peg NXT 2.0 as a developmental brand and then people who you put on the developmental brand you just cut, especially ones like Persia who are showing promise as a whole, it's just stupid. They arent developmental anymore. They are TV practice. Developmental is the coaching stuff at the PC we dont see. NXT 2.0, at this point, is just TV coaching. They are literally developmental, they are live TV Developmental, people quite literally learning, sinking, or swimming, on live TV. Not much coaching exactly going on. Vince wants these people to either be main roster ready in six months or they potentially get cut. This was his own edict when the brand started and we're seeing some of it in action

WWE didn’t even appreciate her in the Black & Gold era for whatever reason.

Big Bivens fan going back to his days in The Embassy in ROH and on through his Stokely Hathaway persona to NXT.
Hope he lands on his feet with a strong stable. He’s one of the best managers in the game today IMO. Sad to see this.

I see Impact taking a chance on Dakota real quick and teaming her with Tegan again to bolster their womens tag division seems like an obvious path.
Or her and Rudy reunite in AEW.

She's been in the system for over a year and hasn't improved at all. So it seems like this six month thing isn't an absolute rule.

Again, what's the point of getting invested in these stories and characters if there's a chance they can be released out of nowhere? Lol.

Bivens might be in AEW as soon as this week, with his contract simply expiring he has no no-compete and Khan's probably on the phone with him right now lmfao
Dakota I would get for the AEW or even ROH roster, either one if not both. She's really good and immediately provides more depth to a division. It depends on her visa issue though, and she also would have a 30 day no compete in NXT
I think a company should take a chance on Harland and Persia. Harland has a look, he could be something if he's actually given room to grow. Persia was actively improving and funny in her own right, I think she could actually be a good prospect for a division to grow upon especially someone with some mic chops. A lot of upside being only 25.

This was his own edict when the brand started and we're seeing some of it in action But that isn't developmental in the way it was. Nowadays you get the basics out back with the coaches, then, as you say, it's sink or swim on TV. But it isn't a developmental system like OVW was, like FCW was, like NXT was. It's just TV time to see if you can make what little you have learnt work. So I dont look at NXT 2.0 as developmental, it's filmed auditions.

I'd be surprised if Indi's not let go at this point.
