might just be me, but it seems more and more the current generation is only different from the last generation in ways that only a complete nerdlinger would notice.

My go-to example is the difference between the PS4 and PS5 versions of CONTROL were staggering. It was like playing a brand new game with the ever cleaner visuals and performance. I even went back to the PS4 version to grab the plat and see if it was just new system bias, and it felt like a grainy filter was slapped over my TV screen.

That might be because the PS4 version of Control is considered to be a really bad port.

Imo you have to have a PS5 for yourself to see the true difference PS5 is truly next gen. Playing Days Gone, the PS5 experience is truly the way they want the game to be played

Playing Days Gone, the PS5 experience is truly the way they want the game to be played I think the best barometer is how fast games load on PS5, even with playing the PS4 games. Spider-Man Miles Morales and the remastered version of PS4 Spider-Man have non-existent loading screens, to the point that the load screen tips are options you can actually turn off in the game options.

I haven't noticed a whole lot of difference between PS4 and PS5 yet besides the much better load times. Then again, I haven't seen a PS5 play on a native 4K+ display compared to an upscaled PS4.

I'd say frame rate makes for a pretty big upgrade in terms of the game feeling different, maybe not to the average person but it's definitely a lot easier to point out to a casual player than something like resolution or lighting. Also, I could see haptic feedback being the next motion control if Sony would market it correctly and get it in the hands of casual players.

When looking at gameplay clips of games I've played on PS4 versus those games played on a PS5, the framerate contrast is night and day.

Sucks but I'd take this over them rushing it.

Facts. Take your time, hell at least by then more people should have PS5's Feels like the stock shortage is never going to end, though. They are supposed to be testing a new component that will allow for more production of the PS5 It took like a year for PS4 to be available enough to purchase in stores without hassle, this is looking the same. Tho I expect an announcement of another PS5 model either in 2022 or 2023 and to be available in 2023

60fps patch for HZD on the PS5 just dropped
Immediately after I played through it 100% like three times in a row.
