So sad, RIP. His years in TNA were my favorite. Loved seeing him sell baseball cards on TV too. Praying for his family and friends.

We used to poke fun at him for how over the top that he was with his calls, but Don West had a passion for his job/anything that he was trying to sell and that is admirable. He made even the lamest matches a fun listen. "RIGHT IN THE FAAAAAAACE!"
RIP.

West had one of the great voices in wrestling and his enthusiasm was infectious. So damn sad

Don West had the natural ability to put over whatever was on screen in an organic way. A really, really rare skill.

I remember shitting on the guy so hard when he was commentating then instantly missing him once he was replaced. The man made selling Brown Bags on TNA's site a hoot. RIP Don, you were a good one.

I regret never purchasing a brown bag from Don West. I had one in my cart so many times and never pulled the trigger.

Don West had an ability to make even the most humdrum match feel special, and the dude knew how to sell the emotion of big matches. He made a great team with Tenay and it sounded like he was having the time of his life commentating.
RIP Don and thanks for the memories.

RIP Don. You were a lot of fun. He has a great cameo on the show Cheap Seats too.
Perhaps it’s some sort of twisted cosmic irony, but when I think of him I think of his “PELE PELE PELE!” call. He also just passed. Just a random observation.

RIP. His voice is seriously one of the first things I associate with TNA.

A guy I don't think got the credit he deserved while he was active. Loved Don's enthusiasm for TNA and he made so many awesome moments.
Here's one that has been making the rounds on twitter
Here's Impact's tweet

I never found Don to be a great commentator... but at the same time he never came off as someone that didn't care about what he was doing.
He was an amazing pitchman and had great work ethic... I remember from the few TNA House shows that I got to Don was hustling everywhere all night from the merch stands to the ring area... etc.
and I never heard anyone say a negative word about him...
RIP
