Cain's booking was one of the worst things I've seen in WWE. They tanked everything for a Brock vs. Cain match that went like 90 seconds.

Was Fury supposed to be anything more than a one-off? Cain, I think, was injured and didn't look great in ring or physically in general. I think if the pandemic wouldn't have happened, that he would've left, healed up, got in better shape, and come back though. Yeah, Fury was nothing but a one off as he was in talks of fighting Wilder for the title around that time which got confirmed after Crown Jewel

Cain I still think could have worked but he either just had or needed knee surgery right around the time he debuted and was out of shape

I like to imagine that Cain and Brock both had a good laugh backstage about how the old man is paying them an obscene amount of money to kayfabe-fix the outcome of a real fight.

I respect Cain for wanting to work a different style from most MMA competitors turned wrestlers, but I'd still be happy if neither returned.
Actually, on second thought, Roman choking Cain out sounds hilarious.

Lesnar and Velasquez doing the worked version of a really boring clinch fight was hilarious.

My favorite moment of Cain's WWE "run"

Cain's matches in Mexico were so much better, if I recall correctly.

How close were they to doing this before the pandemic hit? Was this going to be Drew's big Wrestlemania 36 bout, while I am guessing it would be Lesnar vs. Cain for the WWE title at the same show?

what a great event poster Honestly, the state of it. Some of WWE's posters these last few years have been breathtakingly lazy.

Tyson Fury is scum but he did a great job.
I had no idea who Cain Velasquez was, so I was extremely disappointed to see Kofi’s title reign thrown away for his feud with Brock. I know he came in injured, but he didn’t look the part and the match was pointless.

There was zero reason for the WWE title to be on the line in that match. Kofi could've had an amazing title defense at Crown Jewel. Plus, if the stars aligned, it would've been Kofi vs. The Fiend vs. Adam Cole at Survivor Series.

I was really bummed that Cain didn't work out. I saw him live with AAA and he looked great. If he stayed healthy and developed a hybrid shoot/lucha style, he could've developed into something.

Firstly, the photoshop job on Cain makes it look like he has a dent in his head, f***ing hell
Secondly, Tyson writes about this angle in his book as if it's a shoot, leading me to assume all of his fights were works

Rey could really have used Cain’s help lately, where tf has he been? Don't you know by now that in WWE, Rey is a bad father and friend?
