Yeah, i'm glad she is finally starting to break out again because had been floundering for a while and I thought she was highly overrated I hope she at least gets a Knockouts Tag title reign with someone because she's never held a mainstream title on TV anywhere throughout her career, and I could also picture some entertaining segments on Impact happening with her being a champion. I know she's had some setbacks with injuries but still that's pretty amazing that she's never won a title considering she's a super good looking girl who is a good worker and has been on TV for almost a decade now for multiple promotions. You think she would've won at least one by now. With Impact it's particularly surprising they've yet to give her a title as she's been there for like two years now and it seems like they like her well enough. I mean if freakin Tamina can get a title win at this point I think Tenille definitely can. Unfortunately for her they are so all in on Deonna Purrazzo I don't think a singles title seems likely. I know Deonna is really good in the ring but from a presentation standpoint Tenille seems like a better act to me. Instead of doing yet another super long dominant heel women's title reign that every promotion has ton of I don't see why they couldn't have broke it up for a chicken s**t heel reign with Tenille with her constantly lucking out and escaping. Would've been a nice change of pace but whatever. I guess tag team title is probably her best bet but the problem with that is there's really no one on their roster that really goes well with her in that Impact doesn't really have a lot of other model type looking girls like WWE and AEW do. Unless I guess they bring in that Brandi Lauren girl that WWE just cut to team with her once she becomes available. Or I guess they could do something where she takes someone under her wing and they have vignettes with the partner getting a makeover or something to that effect.

It amazes me how this company can constantly shit on WCW and yet do the dumb things they did, because Emmalina was their Seven. I mean, basically, yeah. It didn't have her lurking outside a kid's window in a way that should be have been followed up with police sirens and her being told to take a seat but still.

As I recall she was recovering from an injury and it ended up taking way longer than expected, hence the unending vignettes. And she just didn’t impress in rehearsal promos she did for the character, so it got scrapped.

Imagine running a billion-dollar entertainment company that allows you to change plans on the fly if they don't work as well as expected, going through all that effort and finance in filming for a new character and not a single person in the entire process went "Hang on a minute, can this person we're putting this money into doing a dancing gimmick actually dance?" and then being surprised when it turns out said person can't actually dance? That just sounds insane to me.

And she just didn’t impress in rehearsal promos she did for the character, so it got scrapped. I don't think it had anything to do with that injury. She hurt her back in May 2016 and had to have surgery, and returned on a house show loop filling in for Becky Lynch in October which was also when the Emmalina vignettes started. If anything she recovered from the injury quicker then expected as if I remember at the time it was thought to be potentially career ending and she was listed as out indefinitely which made it very surprising when she was cleared to return in just four months. I've heard the rehearsal promo rumors too and them not being impressed which is why it was scrapped. Wouldn't surprise me if was true but even then if that was the case why still continue the vignettes for six months straight? Or why not do the rehearsals and see if she your happy with it before you start filming the vignettes? Also Evil Emma was doing perfectly fine I thought so it seemed kind of unnecessary to try repackaging her again to begin with. Looking back they should've brought her back as Evil Emma on Smackdown towards the end of 2016 since she was cleared and working then, and resumed her feud with Becky since they had been building a program between those two in the spring before Emma got hurt. I think it would've made a lot more sense to put her in that spot then it did Mickie James.

Square peg. Round hole. Vince is a moron, and Impact is letting her do something similar but way more organically tailored to her.

That did happen. They put Kelly Kelly in the Extreme Expose dance troupe with Layla and Brooke on ECW in 2007. But, Kelly wasn't that great of a dancer.

The answer in too many cases is 'WWE blew it or gave up'

Normally I would agree however the fact that Tenille dated Zack Ryder/Matt Cardona for a while not long before he got with Chelsea makes me not sure if that would be a good idea. I mean they could be cool with each other I don't know but if it was a case where it was a bad break up then I don't know if that would be the best idea to team them up.

She’s said in interviews since leaving that she did herself zero favors by being a huge bitch(her words not mine) to writers & management for no reason just because she thought it was hilarious. She never clued them in that she was joking and they thought she was an awful person.

Do you have a links to one of these interviews? I've seen several interviews of her and never heard that. I've seen interviews where she said she could be a smart ass and would mess with people who would not know she was joking but I never heard about doing it with people in management. Being a bitch to people in charge of your career to be funny and then never letting them know you are joking. What an extremely odd and stupid thing to do. I do remember an interview with an ex writer who used to work for WWE said she was super mean and the worst person he dealt with there so it definitely lines up.

Well, now I want to see how it would have gone if Emma did the Seven gimmick. Semma? Not sure if it would have more or less sexy than her Emmalina vignettes.

I can tell you right now why it didn’t work: after 17 weeks the crowd didn’t give a f*** and Emma didn’t give a f***.

I am shocked that 200 weeks of vignettes and then proceeding to drop the character they spent 200 weeks on promoting flopped.
