From 2006-2010 there were plenty champs. I gotta give it to Big Show, that was probably his best run he had in his career. Other favorites of mine were Christian and CM Punk.

Big Show. His ECW work is underrated, as the guy was having some real bangers with a bunch of different opponents

Christian
He had it for probably its best period and you tuned in because every week he went out there and made someone look good and vice versa
It is still crazy to think that basically a percentage (I want to say at least 60%) of the WWECW Champions all became "World Champions" either in WWE or elsewhere at some point. Chavo and Big Zeke are probably the lowest on the totem pole to get runs but that was a thank you run for Chavo and Big Zeke had a bright future but never really took off

Depends on how you look at it.
Big Show, in the worst shape of his life, had a six month run loaded with heat and unnecessarily great matches. It is some of his greatest work.
Christian is probably better overall, but has done better stuff elsewhere and got less focus.

Christian and Big Show. Big Show did a good job carrying the brand after RVD's career went up in smoke. He did some of the best character work in his entire career during that time and had some really good matches during his reign. Christian's was pretty much everything you wanted out of a championship reign.

I always have a soft spot for Mark Henry’s monster heel run with Tony Atlas as his manager.

I agree with everyone so far. Christian was everything you'd want in a white meat babyface champ. Big Show was, at a certain level, carrying the extreme torch with his Hardcore matches that were surprisingly decent, given Show's physical condition.

Ezekiel Jackson. No one beat him for it! XD
Seriously though, Christian is my choice...but honorable mention: Matt Hardy wasn't a bad champion either.

John Morrison was in pretty much the most unenviable position imaginable and turned it into some decent television.

John Morrison was in pretty much the most unenviable position imaginable and turned it into some decent television. As I said in another WWECW thread, his series of matches with Punk were really good.
