Lil' naitch had a match in WCW, so he was trained. It really should've been Charles Robinson vs. Earl Hebner.

The one in the striped shirt.
But nah, serious answer it's gotta be Charles Robinson. He's been around seemingly forever, has been the ref for plenty of big matches, seems to be well liked by WWE. And if for nothing else, that legendary sprint he did was Hall of Fame worthy alone.
Although, my personal favorite referee has always been Mike Chioda, I'd love to see him get the honor but for some reason it seems like WWE just said "screw him" after so many years so who knows if that would ever happen.

The Canadian in me votes for Jimmy Korderas. He did stick with WWE in the great referee strike of 99 so he should be rewarded for that.

I can’t believe that given the immense wrestling knowledge that I’ve seen on this message board that the GOAT himself Tommy young was not on the list of options by name or mentioned so far in this thread. Well I’m changing that. Tommy young was and is the greatest professional referee I’ve ever seen. His one main trait is he made you believe what you were watching. A particular moment that sums this up, is during the flair vs steamboat trilogy, the two lads are having a chop off in the corners(narrows it down I know), and one of the chops hits the perfect spot and sounds like a gun going off. Anyway Tommy young just puts his hands up in a “oh I felt that one” and backs away. It’s a great non verbal moment that gets across how serious the match is.

Is Tim White warrior award material? I don't know what direction that awards goes in now, but he's done a lot backstage during his time.
I wish there was a way they could get Josh Matthews to induct him.

Charles Robinson. If not him than Mike Chioda would be my picks. Waiting for it to be ''look at me, look at me!'' Earl Hebner though

No Fonzie?
He WAS just on the RVD doc. Has worked several of the major companies, was part of one of ECW's biggest angles and reinvented himself as a manager till the company shut down. Worked with several legit legends.

Earl (and Dave for that matter) should be but I think it’ll be Lil Naitch. Fun story, at one house show here in Liverpool a few years back he was reffing one of the matches and got one of the biggest pops and ‘Little Naitch’ chants from the section I was sitting in which got a bow from him, also got to high five him later that night when he and others including Mysterio and Kofi came out for a celebration with Edge and Christian (it was the post Mania UK tour after Edge initially retired)

Surprised Joey Marella hasn't gotten in on one of those legacy inductions yet considering his dad and that he died so its not like anyone can really object.

It should be Joey Marella - he was a part of some of the biggest moments of Wrestlemania history. Besides, he was WWE throughout his entire career. L'il Naitch was not (though he would be a great choice for second referee, along with Jimmy Korderas.)
