How about Edge to win Money in the Bank?

Pros:

Heats up Edge again
Money in the Bank case means more, because Edge is part time, so when he shows up, it's truly a surprise
It's not on TV every week, so the case isn't over exposed
The moment he cashes successfully, you could do it over Roman and he finally outsmarts Roman.
Keeps Roman strong, as he was sneak attacked into losing the title
The mystery and intrigue when Edge and the case, do show up
Doesn't have to go through a grueling match to win a title, his character is a sneaky bastard, he takes shortcuts to win


Cons:

Part-timer holds the briefcase
No rub for a young star who could break through

Clearly the pros outweigh the cons?

I'd like a younger superstar to carry on Edge's MITB legacy. Have somebody basically be that young guy who's out to get it. Have Edge be close to winning but next thing you know, this guy comes and takes his shine. That's a better story.

I just think having someone like Edge win it (as good as still he is) is exactly the kind of thing most of us have been complaining about for years.

I’m an ultimate Edge mark, and even I think there’s better options. I like the early look of the thing with the “upset” guys winning. Hopefully it remains a trend through the rest of the qualifiers.

That said, I absolutely wouldn’t be mad if Edge was the direction they did decide for some reason.

I don't hate it since he's the guy arguably most connected with the MITB to begin with, tied with Miz, but I'd still prefer it A. be someone new, B. be someone who specifically says, "I am cashing it in for this and this PPV, calling my shot now" or something and neutralizing the more obnoxious elements of the case, or C. both.

I agree. It's a "no" for me regardless of follow-up plan because Edge should not for any reason be in that match, especially if it's going to be in front of a live crowd.
