Shit Well that's what I get for not Googling for two seconds when I saw a thread about 'The Captain' Danny was a Sergeant at Arms Yeah Danny is just one of the wrestlers AEW has on hand who have served. Shawn Dean, Danny Limelight, and Carlie Bravo all fit that.

Journeys like this consistently make the Youtube shows feel rewarding to watch. I know this sort thing will just never be interesting to some people, but seeing people come in, put in the work, and consistently prove themselves with every opportunity, until the day they finally get their win and they can move up to that next level, is really something special. It's got parallels to the Young Lions in New Japan, but also just in general to the independent scene for a lot of promotions that have schools attached. I've seen this play out a similar way before plenty of times on that scale. Yeah it's fun to watch these people grow. Plus these shows have a much looser and fun vibe. Makes me wonder why wrestling commentary is always so damn serious.
