If I know the WWE, even if there were consequences they aren't going to disrupt storyline until AFTER their PPVs. RVD lost both the WWE and ECW belts after his arrest in 2006 and was then suspended 30 days; Roman and R-Truth both were suspended within 48 hours after their respective PPV matches (R-Truth at Survivor Series 2011, Roman at MitB 2016), but the reports pointed to them violating the policy before those shows took place.
I'm still not buying them doing anything to him even after the show, but I wouldn't count on them writing him off in any capacity until at least the 19th of July.

Reminds me of when they fired Emma/Tennille for the shoplifting that one time despite her protests it was accidental, and only backed down when people pointed out that doing this like right after they did nothing when Jack Swagger/Jake Hager got pulled over with weed was a terrible look. The company has never cared about driving under the influence that I can recall, and they really should, especially now that they'll be back on the road. |

This is a board that has turned into if some wrestler doesn't tip at a restaurant, most will be up in arms until said wrestler posts a picture of giving money to the server and writing a 1,000 word apology. And many take the stance of guilty until proven innocence. |
