So WWE is going to do nothing because he is apparently "really important to their ongoing storyline" Yea this is gonna end in one of two ways or even both with people hurt and or dead. It’s nice that Prichard got his dislike of Meltzer under the bridge to send some spin his way. Sure, Jan. Just say you don’t have plans to punish him, don’t expect me to believe Jimmy freaking Uso is important to anything you’re doing right now.

They're just not changing. It'll take something huge to change. Idk what that'll be but it's more than from a presentation standpoint. It needs to be something internal. Vince passing in the future is is only thing that I think will force them to change so whenever that'll be, that'll be the big shift.

I’m also someone who hasn’t watched a full show likely since the pandemic started and yeah, nothing will change without a big shift and I’m of the opinion not even Vince dying will do that unless, like, ownership that takes over wants to refresh the company. If I were in their shoes, though, if I’m not going to do anything about it, I’m also not going to try and call my superstars “heroes to kids” or anything because, well, they don’t seem to want them to act that way. And it isn’t just incidents like this, it’s dumb social media spats or misguided interviews, stuff like that. Don’t try and do that community outreach spin when you aren’t going to back it up. It’s not going to happen, but eh.

"Jimmy is very important to the ongoing storyline"
The storyline where he just returned to a month ago and has a twin brother who has been doing the exact same thing for months? Ok sure.

I treat WWE like I treat the disaster former friend I had in college who occasionally sends me death threats on burner Facebook accounts; watch in silent awe from a distance at the mess being made but never engage. If I catch WWE, it's incidental and because someone around me puts it on, and even then I'm often checked out, but following the backstage goings on is that bad habit I can't kick. Been years of unplugging from the company but not being able to look away.

I took this as your friends taking you and showing you where the former college friend is so you can do that from a distance.

It pays to be related to The Rock. They fired Umaga, Rosey, Manu etc and they suspended Reigns in the midst of a title program.

The best part is is that the storyline likely involves the Rock as the endgame but once he shows up no one is going to give two f***s what the Uso’s are doing anyways. Take another L, WWE!

Also, you’re expecting me to believe Jimmy Uso is important enough for him not to take at least a two month suspension going into a match that likely won’t happen until April? Come on, now.

"Important to ongoing storylines" aka "we're reusing the scripts as much as possible week to week and we don't want to strain that at all"

They should call up Jake Atlas, call him Jake Uso, and give him all of Jimmy's lines.

Yall still gonna watch or is this it for yall? Yall know they won't punish him. It was it for me 4-5 years ago, at this point WWE just keeps fortifying my decision to cut ties with the company. Like seriously, what the hell even? One DUI is bad enough, sometimes that is all it takes to ruin lives. 4? 5? Screw that, dude needs to have his license taken away and shelved for a bit to get some help. Dude is going to hurt or kill someone one day if he keeps that up.

True story; Where I work [Cemetary for story clarity] an individual who we will refer to as 'Bob' was an alcoholic.
From time to time he would sneak swigs from his "soda" bottle. Now bob was very important, He was in a top position and as of yet had not trained anyone in what he did which was very specialized.
One day, actually he was sober if memory recalls, He was called in the main office that I happened to be in at the time to overhear this. They asked if the previous day he had driven home drunk because they caught him on one of the cameras as he left that day swerving out of the parking lot.
Now despite the fact, he was in a very import posistion and had been there for easily 25 years they immediately fired him, with no hesitation.
WWE has set a dangerous precedent for younger wrestlers and one day it's gonna bite them big in the ass. I have no respect for the company so I can't really think any less of it.

That's a bit different, because if it was known he was drinking on company property there could be a liability issue.
