Way better fit for him than Vickie is.

Yeah, this works out way better than Vickie.

Way better fit for him than Vickie is. Agreed. I know he's not the most exciting person in the world for AEW to pick up, but he has legacy and can get heat. Dude just looks like a fit with him as well with that smooth ass look.

Helps to have someone that can run interference and take a bump or two

Yeah this is a great move. Chavo is way better than Vickie and if Andrade ends up getting more stablemates to battle Death Triangle this could be a damn fun faction too.

Something I quickly noticed was the crowd started to chant when Andrade was speaking. Chavo took the mic, said a few lines to bring the crowd back and handed the mic back to Andrade. It was smooth.

I honestly can't believe the pop he got. Good for him.

I missed it did they say why he dropped Vickie?

Don’t watch but I’m glad to see people speak favorably of Chavo. I have a soft spot for him for his involvement in his tragedies, and I think the iwc was too hard on him since.

I missed it did they say why he dropped Vickie? I don't think they have been explicit about it but it has been framed as Vickie being the one to bring him in rather than being a full time manager.

It felt weirdly sad to see Chavo with a shaved head, after what a big deal he made about how great his hair plugs turned out a decade ago.
Guess he finally lost the battle.

I liked the choice. Andrade is talented, but still may need a manager to help him with promos.
Still loving the feud with Death Triangle. Andrade's right, Fenix and Penta deserve titles.

Better fit than Vickie and I believe Chavo has kind of become a liaison for the Mexican wrestlers to get US bookings so even with Chavito being a meme it's not a bad pick up

Curious if this was the plan all along, and Vickie was just there to transition into the Andrade/Chavo combination. It would certainly make sense, since that's a logical move if booked backward from this debut.

Chavo has worked a lot behind the scenes, hasn't he? Wasn't he a producer on Lucha Underground or is that a not right memory. Either way, he's a great guy to have in front of and behind the scenes. He's a coach, he's connected with a lot of people. This is the kind of veteran you build a locker room with. And another WCW guy, so I'm happy.

I think the agents are one of those unsung heroes, but AEW got a very good pick of the litter there, too. I know Jerry Lynn and Dean Malenko are agents, and I assume where Arn has done it for so long he probably throws in his two cents once in a while.

I honestly can't believe the pop he got. Good for him. Chavo is from El Paso. The combo of the surprise debut and the home state pop was in his favor and it was awesome.
