This one particularly feels like it could be a hot one, with a lot of major pieces moving to other teams.

This draft has a few good pieces The interest is more so the people with assets like New Orleans, Warriors, Knicks etc Cavs are a wildcard. They are trying to trade Sexton and could in theory take Mobley and let Jared Allen walk to someone else on a sign and trade

The Warriors are definitely going to trade their picks + Wiseman (+ Wiggins for salary matching) for an established player, it's just a matter of who. Curry is 33, Klay is 31 coming off two major injuries, and Draymond is 31. They can't mess around and wait for Wiseman and lottery picks to pan out. Beal or Lillard would be my guess, but it depends on how those teams value Wiseman (huge bust potential + high upside).

Can't see Lillard unless he pushes that trade himself I liked the Siakim fit a whole lot more as him and Draymond can switch between 4 & 5 Toronto would get a great young big man, they are going to draft a PG to replace Lowry and they would have another pick to shore up a new young core

Toronto has a muddy center situation and could obviously use another lottery pick (who couldn't?), and GS could use a swiss army knife PF. Siakam replaces Wiggins' scoring while not being a black hole offensively. It makes sense for both sides.

Toronto would essentially skip a whole rebuilding phase by trading Siakim and getting the pick In the East with Nurse as your coach, you'd still have a shot at making the playoffs with potentially Suggs, VanVleet, Wiggins, Anunoby and Wiseman as your starting 5. That's not inlcuding the number 6 pick in which you can pick up someone like Daivon Mitchell, Mooses Moody, Jalen Johnson etc For GS, they'd have a good and versatile team. Curry, Klay, Oubre (if you bring him back), Draymond, Siakim A rare deal where everyone wins. GS just has to put together pieces for the rest of the team and Raptors get a clean reset

I just think the W's are going to aim higher. Of course if the Blazers and Wiz decide not to trade Lillard and Beal, then it would make more sense to pivot to Pascal. If Klay is even 80% back, then defensively they would be able to switch on everything with that lineup. Toronto gets a hometown kid in Wiggins and a huge lottery ticket in Wiseman, plus a top 7 pick to go along with either Suggs or Mobley depending on how the draft shakes out. If they draft Mobley then they have no need for Wiseman, but my guess is Suggs is the one who falls to 4.

Totally buy the Blazers news, but draft talk is usually BS. Especially at 4. Even if you're leaning Barnes, why show your hand and abandon the idea that someone like Orlando would move up to 4?

Yea, usually if no deal is done by now than a deal won't get done There has been no negatives against Suggs nor as their been any positives for Barnes to move up a pick or two. We saw players sliding and rising last year around this time but thus far the draft talk hasn't had that and you can basically almost write it in pen who the teams want and like The draft is looking chalk right now. Cade, Mobley, Green, Suggs are your top 4 picks. Just a matter of who is going 2-4

DeRozan and Lowry joining LeBron after he curb stomped them for years in the East would be fitting. Not sure how the Lakers even pull that off.

Not sure the Raptors would settle for 14 instead of 7, unless they really want to move Siakam for some reason, but I guess it would depend on how highly they view Wiseman. At least with 7 they would end up with one of Barnes/Kuminga/Johnson to partner with Suggs and Wiseman.

Looking forward to the draft! For the first time in years, I feel good about the Pistons. It's reassuring that Cade reportedly would be thrilled to be here.

One of them would have to be a sign and trade but I am not totally how sure that would work. One or both of them would have to take a paycut but like neither of them are taking the MLE. I always figured they would end up at the same place. Rudy Gay is also close with DeMar and a free agent and I figured would also probably go where he does, and that is someone you can probably get for the MLE. The Lakers or Knicks getting Lowry, DeRozan and Gay would be a really good off-season.

Some teams have been trying to put a Lowry/DeRozan reunion together to entice both players to come
Knicks reportedly tossed that idea out earlier but I mean I wouldn't mind it if you get boy guys on 2 year deals, Give them both $20-$25 mill a piece
I'd lowkey look out for Miami to try to cut that type of deal since they have players they can leave off and get cap and pull sign and trades
Lakers are limited and idk why people keep trying act like Kuzma trade is a winner. They can probably pull off Westbrook with that contract but I can't see them getting Lowry or CP3 unless they really want to be there. CP3 might ring chase but Lowry has options

Either that or DeRozan for Oubre and #14 from Golden State would be options that wouldn't be blockbusters but could help both teams involved.

Sp the spurs do a sign in trade with the Lakers to pick up 2 bad contracts instead of just letting DeRozan sign somewhere else? Or they overpay in a sign and trade to get Oubre's to gain a #14 pick . Oubre's not a scrub or anything but the salary he is looking for,I don't think a team historically smartly run as The Spurs are gonna bite on him.

I started off last season's thread the same way.
Where will the Toronto Raptors play in 2021-22?
You'd think they would know by now with 10 weeks until training camp.
