I also think they are smart with how they are using the partnerships, especially with the NWA Women’s title. It feels like a secondary women’s title, which keeps the AEW title elevated (along with the company’s name and brand). If they added a women’s TNT title then people may complain about title proliferation like they do with WWE. But having it under the NWA umbrella keeps it feeling like it’s own attraction.

To steal a comment from Reddit, a deathmatch indie dude who robbed a bank main evented with Chris Jericho leading to Juvis TNT return. Tanahashi challenged for a njpw title on an American show and Darby Allin referenced/called out CM Punk, all on a single show. Wrestling hasn’t been this fun in soooo long.

I'm not against it but I do have an issue.
I do appreciate that many AEW fans watch a wide variety of wrestling. I am not one of those people. My viewing is restricted to mostly Raw, Smackdown, Dynamite and NXT (And sometimes I don't have time for NXT). I can only watch so much wrestling in a week.
So whenever these guys just pop in everybody else loses thier shit and I like "who?"
Take last week's Dynamite for example. People got excited about the announcement of Nick Gage. The only time I saw Nick Gage was the Dark Side of Wrestling episode (and it wasn't a flattering picture). Then Hikuleo comes in from the crowd to challenge Archer. I never knew this guy existed until that moment. You could said it was Semi Ojeleye and I would have believed you. Why should I get excited?
Then this week Tanahahsi shows up. Again I don't know who he is. At least it was a promo where he explained his credentials.
I'm fine with them bringing in all this talent from other organizations. But I wish sometimes they would promote "X Is Coming To AEW!" rather than having the guy just show up one week.

I mean, I’m not trying to be weird here but commentary explained all those men in all those cases. Like, I didn’t know much about Hikuleo but commentary said he’s big, he’s a member of the Bullet Club, he’s Haku’s son and he wants the US title. I don’t really need to know much more than that. And Tanahashi? Sure, they could have said more but I imagine that to some more casual fans, JR saying he was one of his favourite wrestlers ever might perk up some attention.
