8/10. I'm not a huge deathmatch fan and the Cash Wheeler injury was an awful moment of rotten luck, but it was a mostly entertaining and wildly unpredictable show. I marked for Haku/Meng, Tanahashi, the Punk hints, and Malakai Black not letting Cody finish a single sentence before kicking his fool head off. A little surprised the Hangman match result was received so badly by some, felt like typical heel booking 101 to me. I understand the reasoning, but it didn't really faze me and I was surprised to read the hate for it afterwards. You know, if anything it’s just a testament to how over Hangman’s gotten. It’s a rare thing in modern wrestling for a character losing eliciting this level of vitriol. The last time was Kofi getting Bork’d I think.

4. Really disappointing show.
The opener was a colossal bummer and Dark Order continue to look useless. I know there's a lot of time until All Out so we'll see I guess, but this was a great time to give Dark Order a much needed credibility boost.
None of the other matches passed the "decent" threshold (FTR/P&P might have gotten there if not for Cash's injury but we'll never know) and the main event was pretty rough - both guys could barely move. Good finish though.

8... rest of the show was meh, but that Deathmatch more than made up for it. Even if I think the reveal of Juvi as the next labor was a bit underwhealming.

After the 5 on 5, I felt a little disappointed but I'm willing to see where this goes because AEW hasn't really done the whole misery booking thing. It took a bit to shake off that disappointment, but the show was very good after. Who could imagine a deathmatch between Chris Jericho and Nick Gage ending with the announcement of Juventud Guerrera wrestling on TNT again. And that the crowd was so into all of that? Solid 8 for me.

10/10
Definitely one of the best shows they've done. Every match delivered; even the women's match was better than expected.
To address the elephant in the room: I fully understand why people may feel that the Hangman loss is a sign of AEW embracing WWE-style misery booking. I can even understand why it soured the entire show for some people. However, I 100% believe AEW has earned the benefit of the doubt. This Hangman story has been building for nearly two years; no way do they shit the bed in the home stretch.
In fact, I'm so confident in the fact that AEW knows what they're doing that I propose the following. If the AEW World Title match at All Out is not Hangman Adam Page beating Kenny Omega for the belt, I will donate the cost of the PPV ($50) to charity. If I do not provide proof of this donation within 24 hours of the show ending, I give the mods permission to ban me.
Light-tubes. JUVI JUICE. What a show.

7/10
Matches were mostly just ok tonight and I'll be honest, a lot of the energy left me after...well we all know what. Plus, and obviously it's no ones fault, but the PnP vs FTR match was just okay. like I said, no ones fault on that one, injuries happen.
What gave the ups for me though. Good US title match. Hype for (possibly) Punk vs Darby. A fun match with Rosa that cemented her as a full time AEW wrestler. Black kicking Cody's ass. Fantastic spectacle of a match with Gage vs Jericho.
Interested where the Dark Order/Elite goes but we know that isn't the end of it. Match was good, but stuff like Grayson missing everyone and how "ho-hum" some of the eliminations were hurt the match for me. Hangman looked like a world beater though, and definitely came out of that match looking like he can take the title off Omega.

They should've ran an ad for AEW Elite GM after that 10-man match.
Show was okay. Not the best, not the worst. A real bummer for Cash Wheeler. A fun nostalgia bump to see Haku (and for no good reason feeling that good stuff when he tried to get in the ring to break up the pin for his boy).
Thunder Rosa got to declare her full time status on the show to let fans know to keep looking for her and to immediately plant her flag for a title shot (commence Britt Baker ducking said challenge). Julia Hart is so green but obviously willing. Her eyes clinched, breath holding "Oh no, I have to take one more chop" stance in the corner was amusing.
I completely missed the six-man match but caught the ending. I'm down for the Blade eventually having like 7 different costume choices for an AEW game.
Mox talks good, man. Darby talks stunted but then you realize his whole promo was to bring attention to the last four words.
Chris Jericho bled his own blood. Some crazy dude named Nick Gage got to (hopefully) get the biggest payday of his life and get some more mainstream attention for his own career. Juvi isn't that big of a deal to me but I appreciate the callbacks of the feud and the story of it all.
I gave it a 6. Fine enough show that felt like them setting the good stuff up.

10 on the happiness scale for Nick Gage vs. Jericho, 7 or 6 for the whole show.
Like you gave me a match that started on a dude getting his arm slashed open I can forgive that you opened with the Denver Nuggets tag match

10 easy. I was a bit perplexed by the Elite win, but the match made sense and I'm confident they'll make it work in the end. Everything else was great.

6/10 and I'll 100% admit it was the deathmatch stuff that took me out of it. I hate the style and not just on the indies or in certain promotions. I feel like an oldtimer, but I identified with Jim Ross more than the crowd tonight. Same time though, I can say it's more my problem with it than anything having to do with AEW's quality. The Labors angle is about violence and no way they feature this stuff routinely.

I give it 6 going to a Domino's commercial after someone used a pizza cutter as a weapon out of 10.

I gave it a 7. I think it was a bit of a mixed bag this week.
I enjoyed the 10 man tag, even if the result did deflate the crowd for a little while (yet another sign how well that story is hitting with the fans.) FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz wasn't as good as I expected, but that's understandable due to the injury to Wheeler. The 6-man wasn't really anything to write home about.
But, the 10-man tag entrances (and most of the match), Haku, a Tanahashi promo, Darby teasing a match against Punk, and the madness of the main event all made me enjoy my two hours.

5. Omega didn't need a win and Page didn't need to get pinned 6 weeks before a PPV and 2 years into a storyline. Everything up to that point in the match and entrances were great. The pacing seemed off after that and it seemed like a longer Dynamite than usual. The Starks segment was just kinda there. The main event was just garbage wrestling that isn't at all my cup of tea. Then the Juvy reveal, which as a WCW fan I loved, but without him being there seemed a little weird. Much more of a mixed bag than usual.

I didn't care for it, just disappointing all around. I enjoyed last week's show a lot more. Not a fan of deathmatches, and the Juvi announcement was rather underwhelming.

9 out of 10 again for me. One point deducted (as usual) for the Women's Division is an afterthought, but otherwise, another excellent show, IMHO.

I went with an 8, but in my heart it was a 10.
Why?
Because of one man.

I went with an 8, but in my heart it was a 10. Why? Because of one man. Guitars…trumpets….eh, same difference. Add an M.O.P. sample at the beginning and now we’re gettin somewhere…

I think the entire 10 man presentation, the pseudo CM Punk confirmation, and the main event made it an unforgettable show. Solid stuff between too, Cash injury not withstanding. But brother, you’re donating money. The main event for All Out is Punk vs Omega. I do think this kinda of killed the Hangman a bit tonight, which really does bum me out. AEW absolutely deserves the benefit of the doubt however - so I am willing to be optimistic about what’s in the Hangman’s future.
