I am absolutely in.
There is absolutely no way Hangman walks out of Chicago without that belt.

I sure hope everyone is right about this. They’ve got me a bit worried they’re about to mess this up by not giving Page the match now.

Sooooooo, I'm gonna go For.
BUT!
As has been brought up in other threads, Full Gear is technically named after Page, I'm gonna call a bit of a "fluke" at All Out. Aka, Elite interference backfires, Buckshot, pinfall. Kenny demands a rematch, works his way back up the ranks, thinking he's still in Adam's head. Page agrees, but only in a no escape cage match at Full Gear.
THAT is where Adam kicks out of the OWA.

For.
This has been the obvious path for months.
Only thing is how do we get there after the heartbreaking loss this past Wednesday?
No matter what, I'm going to shed manly tears when he walks out of All Out as the new champ.

No matter what, I'm going to shed manly tears when he walks out of All Out as the new champ. Most definitely. There will be tears. I've got almost exactly 8 years on the dude(July 22, 83 to his July 27, 91), but everything about his motivation and character speaks to me. Drowning sorrows, feeling like you're never good enough for your friends, finding the new friends that lift you up instead of breaking you down. I've never been more invested in a wrestler than I have with Adam Page. I'm probably gonna cry when he wins more than I did when Cap got the Hammer.

Against I think Christian is going to get the shot at All Out also Unless you want Christian to turn heel, I wouldn't make that call. Christian will get the "Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble 2014" reaction if that is the match. I think either it's announced that due to Kenny cheating, there will be a rematch. Either Kenny/Nick vs. Hangman or Hangman and Silver. They did something similar right before Double or Nothing with Kenny attacking Orange and PAC trying to get out of defending the title. Or something along the lines of one of Dark Order going to bat for Hangman and winning the shot. Cowboy's aren't too proud to accept a helping hand, after all.

Can I still get in this? My post history is strong that Page will not be getting the title. I deciphered that before the Observer confirmed it.

I hope he gets the match and wins. That said, I fear there is a swerve coming to his storyline which would be a shame, IMHO.

Even with all the rumors from Meltzer that plans have changed, I am STILL going to bet on Hangman winning the title at All Out. It is the right move and I'll be disappointed if we get anything else.

The Meltzer report only makes me want to double down. AEW has been criticized somewhat for being predictable. Using the media to create uncertainty makes perfect sense. The only alternative is CM Punk getting the rocket strapped for the Chicago crowd. Christian being put in the main event would destroy him in AEW. The company has not, to this point, given me any reason to think it would ever in a million years book against its interest like that. Not saying it can't happen, but if it does that's some WWE shit and would probably be the most disappointed I've ever been as a wrestling fan.

Cage vs Andrade vs Page for number 1 contendership, if Page loses he can never go for the title again/Evil Uno unmasks/Dark Order disbands/Negative One is banned from the building until he's an adult. Omega vs Danielson or Punk for the main in a non title match, have Omega lose and then for the first time in this entire story Kenny is the one who is facing his own self doubt and Hangman is the one with the cofidence. Hell I'd even have Page go over whoever beats Omega to just further cement him as the man.

While I don’t think they’re doing it at this point, I’m with you on the disappointment level. AEW is the most into wrestling I’ve been in most of my adult life, and screwing something this big up would take the company down a bit in my eyes. It would make me cynical about future booking choices, which I would hate.

It would make me cynical about future booking choices, which I would hate. Yeah, same. Of the three widely speculated outcomes my attitude is kind of: 1) Hangman earns his title shot back, and wins at All Out - I will be very satisfied and continue considering AEW the best company in wrestling. 2) CM Punk debuts and immediately gets the title shot - I will be disappointed, because it's some Lesnar in WWE stuff, and Lesnar's modern run is my least favorite in the history of wrestling, but I will at least understand why it happened. 3) Christian gets the title shot - Look, Christian is my all time favorite wrestler. My post history definitely corroborates that. But, this would deflate me to an extent that I would be less enthusiastic about watching AEW weekly, live.

Against. It's what should happen but from what I'm seeing it's looking like it wont unless AEW goes against their own stipulation which I don't think they will do. I've said before I'm concerned that them bringing in these big names takes away time from their homegrown talent. There's only so much time on a show and only so many positions on a card.
I'm curious to see how everyone will react if Bryan or Punk get the next title shot. Presumably they have enough good will built up for the company and themselves that they will be fine, but I'm curious on if a mini Daniel Bryan Mania 30 type of thing will happen where people will be less invested because it's not the story they want told. I don't think it will be to the point of revolution like Mania 30 but I do think it will effect things a bit.
