What f***ing idiot allowed Mane to carry on after that head clash? He was clearly out before he even hit the ground and seeing his head smack into the turf like that was horrific.

What f***ing idiot allowed Mane to carry on after that head clash? He was clearly out before he even hit the ground and seeing his head smack into the turf like that was horrific. does CAF have any concussion protocols though? and apparently it doesn't apply to FIFA presidents either ... did you hear what infantino said earlier today! www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60145227 and now, some sport news EGYPT won over ivory coast 5-4 on penalties and now face morocco in the quarters final last 16 match tonight with mali and equatorial guinea

Iran lock in a World Cup spot, with a win over Iraq meaning that they can’t fall below second in their group.

An eventful night in CONCACAF:
- Canada stays top with a 2-0 win in Honduras and a Jonathan David golazo
- USMNT beats El Salvador 1-0 on an Antonee Robinson goal
- Mexico comes from behind to beat 10-man Jamaica 2-1 with Alexis Vega getting the winner
- Costa Rica beats Panama 1-0 on a goal from Bryan Ruiz
With five matches to play, it’s Canada on 19, US on 18, Mexico on 17, Panama on 14 and Costa Rica on 12.
Top three get automatic berths and the fourth-place team will take on a team from Oceania in the playoff.

Well Mason Greenwood's career is done judging by the clips and photos his partner has released. Absolute scum.

Yeah. All I’ll say is it’s not looking good for Greenwood right now.
In other news Liverpool sign Luis Diaz for £37.5m (which could potentially rise to 50m). That could turn out to be a bargain although if he doesn’t settle he could be an infamous flop.
Looks like Lampard is the new Manager of Everton. Should be officially announced tomorrow.

West Ham put in a "I promise we're actually trying" bid for Raphinia and Phillips from Leeds. I don't know why the hell we'd sell them though when we'd have no chance of buying replacements and it would doom us to relegation

Canada, continuing the dream run in North American World Cup qualifying, with the 2-0 win over the United States. A World Cup spot, their first since 1986 and only second ever, is within grasp.

With Mexico only being able to get a draw against Costa Rica, and Panama picking up a win over Jamaica, suddenly all the pressure is on the US and Mexico to fend off Panama (now only one point behind both) and off of Canada, who are now a full game clear in the lead of the North American final group with four left to play.

Newcastle have spent £115 million in this transfer window.
For comparison's sake, they spent £92 million between 2007 and 2021.

Very quiet transfer period for Southampton, I can understand their transfer policy but blimey is it a bit frustrating for the fans. We will need a goalkeeper in the summer, I think Forster is definitely leaving on a free and McCarthy just isn't good enough on a regular basis.

Australia with a draw against Oman, which means they won’t be eliminated in the groups, but basically means they have to beat both Japan and Saudi Arabia in their last two games to have a shot at direct qualification.

Greenwood further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill. Removed from all merch/advertising/FIFA22. Guy is toast.
