You know, with Peach talking about "numerous galaxies" in this trailer...
Mayhaps we see another Mario lady serving to this film as Nick Fury was to the first Iron Man movie?

Pratt continues to be the worst casting choice this movie.
Edit: Having watched the Japanese trailer, it is nigh cruelly unfair how much better everyone fits their characters. Like almost as if getting voice actors instead of random celebrities to do an animated work fits better(not to say the English version lacks proper voice actors, even some of the big name actors, like Jack Black, are legit voice actors these days). But christ. Like Miyano clearly gives a shit and sounds like he is having fun. Pratt sounds so…bored. “Wa-hoo! Whatever the hell. Next line.”

The impression this trailer's giving me is that this is going to be a movie with a ton of fun Easter eggs to watch out for that'll probably be really neat, but with the actual main plot being really irritating with typical Illumination stupidity and a deeply annoying main character.

Honestly if they needed a damsel character, the one whose main character traits are 'easily scared so can act timid around the bad guy to emphasise his villainy, and is generally considered less capable than the guy who looks very similar to him that's going to be around for the entire movie' isn't a bad shout.

Luigi never gets the damn respect he deserves. I mean, The Year of Luigi was one of the worst financial years Nintendo ever had so… To be fair, the year of Luigi was during the failure of the WiiU.
The thing is though, for years Nintendo has sold the idea that Luigi is the lesser brother to the point where he is left out of some of the seminal Mario games. Meanwhile, when Luigi actually gets to star, it something it's always some weird learning shit or random project that they don't want to sully Mario's name with. I guess Luigi's Mansion has always done okay for a B or C level game but does anyone remember the masterpiece Mario is Missing?
Hell one of the games for my 3ds forced me to beat half of it before I could even play as Luigi. That was annoying.
