And the 2nd episode of "Youre In The Picture" that had Johnny Carson as one of the panelists! Building off the Convy idea, why not Ross Shafer's Match Game? Buzzr devotes blocks of the daily schedule to the Rayburn version, and has MG/HS Hour besides, so why not add this version? Obviously, MG is the most popular show hence why Buzzr gives it so much time, so may as well give more variety by using Shafer eps. to go with the Rayburn and Rayburn/Bauman versions. You're in the Picture...whatever exists of the run, isn't a Fremantle show, which is what Buzzr is primarily made of. Then again...Whew! came from an outside source. Unless Fremantle bought the rights like they did with Supermarket Sweep, and like (as per other GS news today) we thought they did with the Hatos-Hall library (Let's Make A Deal, Split Second). As for the OP...Buzzr's magic wand that brings shows we thought would never be rerun strikes again, and I am looking forward immensely to seeing this! Back in the USENET days, we knew this guy Randy who won the $25,000 top prize. He was a regular poster on the alt.tv.game-shows group, and also appeared on Jeopardy! in the 80s. Unfortunately, his was a sad story as the episode where he first appears was on the trading circuit, but he could never find the one where he actually beat the Gauntlet of Villains. He eventually was suffering from throat cancer, and someone did find the episode...only they couldn't get it to him before he passed away. I actually vaguely remembered the opening to Whew! before seeing an episode, and I just remember being scared by it when I was like three. What else can I say but...bring on the ten most Buzzr-worthy Buzzards that ever stood between a contestant and their money! EDIT: I watched that iceberg video. That there was NO mention of ABC Password makes it invalid.

That there was NO mention of ABC Password makes it invalid. "Youre In The Picture" only made 2 episodes, the first episode aired then the next week instead of earing episode 2 which was already shot, Gleason did his half hour apology which got much higher ratings. I feel that may be owned by Gleasons estate which means we probably will never get to see that unaired second episode, all thats out there is Carson said that he was a panelist on that unaired episode. Gleason's estate also owns the "Smokey IS The Bandit" film and that will never get a release either. I am excited for this Whew! airing! I dont know what else Fremantle owns, would like if they lease more oddball stuff they dont own for their "Lost & Found" series, like episodes of Ruckus would be fun to see again. Im curious if Fremantle own that Ross Shafer Match Game, as the pilot for that series was hosted by Bert Convey and so far I think only 2 of the 4 episodes shot with Bert are available. also, that Iceberg video caught me offguard when he went while talking about the pilot for Deal Or No Deal "Somebody named Wink Martindale, said if he reaches a number of followers he will upload the pilot" like....thats Wink Martindale dammit!

Match Game was/is a Mark Goodson property, I don't see why Fremantle wouldn't have all the versions of it.
Ruckus....LOL....I think that started life as a local to the East Coast show, coming from Atlantic City. (Checks: Yep, only WNBC in New York aired it in first-run) And I used to watch it all the time. If you had GSN back in 1997, I would guess they reran the series a few times over. At the time they lost the Mark Goodson shows and had to run a lot of short-lived series from their remaining libraries. And the Newlywed Game, lots and lots of Newlywed Game.

I just remember watching Ruckus on Game Show Network in the 90s and loved how odd it was so I would like to see more.

I just remember watching Ruckus on Game Show Network in the 90s and loved how odd it was so I would like to see more. I see. The whole A.A.P. thing, yes? (Popeye was/is even more confusing) See, I wonder what they did to finally get MG/HS on. I assume someone at Fremantle had to talk to someone at MGM. As another person noted, MGM is now an Amazon company. Buzzr has a channel on Amazon. Soooooo... (I did wonder if, by dealing with MGM indeed, may Buzzr open the door to get some Heatter-Quigley or Orion shows on the air?) Hollywood Squares is confusing too. You got the Marshall, Bauman, and Davidson versions, which I guess Amazon owns. Then the Bergeron one is Sony or CBS? (though I think CBS can use the format despite not owning the classic versions) Then that drops me in the rabbit hole, where I must remind you that there's some versions of Pyramid Sony doesn't own...these belong to the likes of again CBS, and...Colgate-Palmolive? EDIT: Remember the Price is Right with Doug Davidson? Paramount owned that, that's why no reruns. And yes, MG/HS = NBC Infomercial.

It's this afternoon starting 4 eastern. And I wrote a tribute, I'm a cornball....
41 years ago, when I was 2-3, I started remembering seeing things. Most had to do with the TV. One such memory was vague and haunted me for 1.5 decades. All I remembered was this lady passing 10 monsters and being scared by the roar of one of them...a vampire as it turned out. Young me didn't bother watching the rest for fear that the rest was scary too.
Well, when I joined the internet, a certain show was mentioned and I knew it was That Show. Turned out members of the game show group, especially one, were contestants on it. I traded for a video of an episode, and found the show was not scary at all. In fact it was funny and charming, if not with complicated rules.
And after 41 years, that show is finally going to be seen in TV again today. Welcome back, Whew!, and thank you Buzzr.

Well this has been a rocky road.
Monday was to be when the episode with Amasia's $25,000 win aired. Buzzr made a boo-boo and put in the wrong episode.
However, the proper ep. was seen on Tuesday! Albeit with commercial break glitches.

This weekend, see the pilot episode!
GS fans will recognize Maggie immediately. She was also on the pilots to Press Your Luck and Second Chance (the "cousin" to PYL), the actual PYL series, and Joker's Wild when it was on CBS. Which would mean....she has faced the Devil, the Villains, and the Whammies!
Do we know if Maggie Brown is still alive? I'd LOVE it if someone tracked her down and asked for a retrospective on her game show experience.
