After watching some of Marvels new show "What If", I thought of a new Wresltemania version we can play around with. In this case we can go through every Wrestlemania and pick the top 3 alternative outcomes for each match you would most like to see changed/most interested in happening if you HAD to chance 3 match results. We will just go with the actual matches that occured and not come up with "what if hogan vs flair was at mania 8" or "what if pandemic never happened and mania 36 was in Tampa with a filled stadium" (although that could be a whole other game in the future).
So of course we will start with Wrestlemania 1 from Madison Square Garden in New York City! All the matches are the same but we each choose 3 match results that would be different in these alternative timelines. There are 9 matches on this card. There will be 10 options since the Beefcake/Sammartino match ended in a draw and want to give the option for either guy winning here. I also think I may add multiple options for the multi-man matches to get every participant a chance to win and be voted for, depending on this works out. For the top 3 cbanged match results that are picked for each Wrestlemania, I will do a fantasy booking scenario on how they would affect the WWF the rest of that calendar year.
So let's begin, which 3 alternative match scenarios should have happened?

We are live from Madison Square Garden for Wrestlemmania! Mean Gene Okerland sings the American National Anthem.
We begin with the first match being Tito Santana vs Executioner. In less than 5 minutes Tito is able to make Executioner submit to the figure four to win.
For the second match, King Kong Bundy squashes SD Jones in "9 seconds" (seemed more like 25).
Next we have Ricky Steamboat vs Matt Bourne. In just over 4 minutes Steamboat catches Bourne with a flying crossbody from top rope and pins him.
The match between David Sammartino vs Brutus Beefcake ends in a double DQ when both their managers (legendary father Bruno and Johnny Valiant respectively) get involved.
In the nights first title match, Junkyard Dog challenges Greg Valentine for the Intercontinental title. Valentine catches the dog in the corner to use feet on the ropes as leverage to pin him. But wait! Tito Santana, whom recently lost the belt to Valentine, comes out to tell the referee that Valentine cheated to win with his feet on the ropes. Referee reverses his decision and restarts the match. Valentine attempts to walk to the back to accept the count out loss and retain the title, however, Tito runs after him , blocks him from going backstage, causing Dog the grab Valentine and throw him back into the ring. Within 30 seconds JYD catches Valentine with rollup to pin him. New Intercontinental champion... Junkyard Dog, making this the first title change in Wrestlemania history!!!
US Express then defend the tag team titles against Iron Sheik and Nikoli Volkoff. After nearly 7 minutes of action, Sheik is able to hit Barry Windham with Freddie Blassie's cane with referee's back turned, leading to Nikoli to pin Barry. Iron Sheik and Nikoli Volkoff are the new tag team champions!
Next is the $15,000 Body Slam challenge, in which Andre the Giant puts his career on the line against Big John Studd. Since this is a no DQ match with it only ending with 1 guy body slamming the other, Bobby Heenan and Ken Pateria interfere to assist Studd. Andre tries his best to fight them off, however the other 3 men get the upper hand and John Studd bodyslams Andre the win the match. Andre the Giant is forced to retire!!! After the match Heenan and the guys are celebrating in the ring, then Andre is able to recover and knock all 3 guys out of the ring by himself. Andre then realizes Studd left his bag of $15,000, so he then throws all of the money into the crowd! While he still lost and is now retired, Andre still stand tall and waved goodbye to the fans as he receives a standing ovation!
Now we have the women's championship match with Leilani Kai with Fabulous Moolah defending against former champion Wendi Richter with rockstar Cyndi Lauper in her corner. After 6 minutes of action, Kai attempts a flying cross body but Wendi reverses it and pins Kai to regain the Womens Title! Wendi and Cyndi dance to celebrate in the ring.
All 3 titles defended tonight have changed hands!!!
In the Main Event, we have Hulk Hogan and Mr. T vs Rowdy Roddy Piper and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, with Jimmy Snuka and Bob Orton as the corner men respectively. Orton uses his cast to knock out Snuka on the outside. After 13 minutes of action, the movie star Mr T is struggling to keep up with the pros, leading to Orndorff catching him with a piledriver and putting him out of commission. Hogan tries to fight both men off but it's too much for him. Piper catches Hulk in a sleeper, who then attempts to hulk up to power out. Orndorff then distracts referee Pat Patterson, leading to Bob Orton to jump in and hit Hogan with the cast. Piper then pins Hulk Hogan! Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff have won the main event of Wrestlemania (with assistance from Bob Orton), AND Piper has pinned the WWF champion in a non-title match!!!
I will come up with a fantasy booking for the rest of 1985 based on the 3 changes here, leading up to Wrestlemania 2 (should be posted within the next day).

Now on the "what if" scenarios for how they affect 1985-1986.
Fabulous Moolah still pins Wendi as Spider Lady to win Womens title in Novmeber.
Tag Team Belts go from Sheik/Volkoff back to US Express, then to Dream team (Valentine and Beefcake) before the summer ends.
Tito Santana and Greg Valentine have a blood feud that lasts until July. Tito pins Valentine in a no holds barred match after a flying forearm to end their feud.
Junkyard Dog enjoys being the IC champion until the next February, as he defends against Valentine, Beefcake, and Pateria during that time. He loses the belt after almost year long reign to Macho Man Randy Savage, who still heads into Wrestlemania 2 as IC champion to defend against George the Animal Steele.
John Studd becomes a dominate heel and beats most baby faces and challenges Hogan for WWF belt a few times but fails each time. Meanwhile a new group of masked men known as the Machines debut that summer, who one being a GIANT, kinda similar to Andre. After winning for several months, Studd and Pateria attack Giant Machine after a match in November and unmask him, revealing him to be Andre. Andre who broke his promise to retire after Wrestlemania loss, is indefinitely suspended from WWF. Then in Febuary at a live event new Super Bowl Champion William Refridgerator Perry to seating at ringside and gets interviewed by Gene Okeland. This leads to Heenan family coming out to taunt Perry and saw he is not a real champion since he won't face Studd and Pateria in a match. Perry says he is willing to face both John Studd and Ken Pateria, IF he gets to pick any partner he chooses. Studd and Pateri laugh at this, saying they can beat anyone. So Perry chooses Andre the Giant as his partner. Andre is then reinstated back to WWF as as an in ring wrestler. Andre and William Perry vs John Studd and Ken Pateria becomes one of the co-main events for Wrestlemania 2.
Since Roddy Piper beats champion Hulk Hkgan is claims for months he is the real world champion since he pinned Hulk and won Wrestlemania main event. Hogan has a series of successful title defenses against Orndorff, Orton, Studd, and Bundy. During the latter months of 1985, Hogan vs Piper for wwf title highlights the shows, with Hogan winning by DQ each time. Going into 1986 Paul Orndorff brags about "knocking out" Mr T at Wrestlemania, and says he can knock him out in a real boxing match too. This leads to Mr T accepting Mr Wonderfuls boxing challenge, so that is the second wrestlemania main event. Finally Hogan says enough DQ finishes, the next title match with Hulk and Piper will be in a steel cage at Wrestlemania 2, the last Wrestlemania main event.
King Kong Bundy can be in Wrestlemania 2 battle royal.
