Vince needs to go home. He’s 76 years old and is a hindrance to the WWE in-ring product. He reminds me so much of Al Davis that it is honestly scary. At the very least, he needs a friggin' nap.

I literally do not know how it's only Bret and Nailz that have ever knocked him on his ass.

If you've been booking shows to a decent standard and have a roster of well defined characters it shouldn't be that hard to throw a coherent show together at short-notice

Vince needs to be put in a f***ing home. Imagine setting up Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte and then thinking people would care more about Charlotte vs. Nia Jax, even with Alexa's current shtick not being very popular.I don’t personally like it, but I would say it’s divisive rather than not popular. The Lilly doll legit sold out on WWE.com. It sure as hell would make more sense to go in that direction than with Nia cleanly beating Charlotte. Yeah saying Alexa's schtick "is not popular" is not really true. some people (Especially here) really hate it... but other people are insanely into it... also I remember in one of Jericho's books he talked about coming to the WWE and was surprised that so much was planned out a head of time... and how there were stories planned for like everyone week to week... as opposed to WCW where they were flying by their seat of their pants... What the f*** happened? I know the answer is Vince got older crankier and more stubborn... considering that even Vince's old buddies are on the creative meetings now it's kinda proof that no one can get through to him. Hey he slept for 30 minutes 5 days ago he's fine!

Russo knew how to write, Bruce, JR and especially Pat knew how to book a show. Vince knew how to promote. Together they caught lightning in a bottle. But Vince bought his own hype, and believes he alone was responsible for it all, and seen as no one is going to tell him different or lose their meal ticket, he'll continue thinking he was the complete mastermind and the only person who can do anything. I dont even think it's about his age - just his ego. While WWE still isnt as bad as people here scream about it being, while Vince is where the buck stops, this will continue - or until he starts losing, then maybe he'll be willing to listen again if someone new came along with a vision.

The triple threat had a definite "just go out there and buy me, Vince McMahon, some time to write this show" and the show afterward was like "OK I maybe didn't use my time as best I could."

I am usually not one to say something like this but what if the crowds started to chant displeasure TOWARDS VINCE. Instead of "Fire Russo!" why not "Fire McMahon!" I'm sure we'd read that Steph or Shane were no longer with the company after the fact. But why not literally start with that and see if someone gets the picture?

I’m not saying I wish people to be fired, but you’d think with the budget cuts as they are, why do you need 30 or so people to write a show? Especially since it all changes last minute anyway and the writers don’t even get credit for their contributions unless they get released or get heat for bringing in an Emmy (no, I won’t ever get over that)?
It’s clear Vince and whoever his stooges are that week have final say so just have a team with them and save yourself some money. Because it’s clear you’re just paying writers to get stressed for 7 days a week.

From PW Insider: Yesterday was one of the "longest" days in a long time for the WWE Creative team, according to several sources who reached out to PWInsider.com today. PWInsider.com was told by several that Vince McMahon, extremely unhappy with the original plans for Monday Night Raw, "ripped up the script" several times, including the original plans and then the initial rewrite. We are told that McMahon then began requesting new ideas, some of which we are told were good and others no so good, but rejected everything pitched to him before decreeing the new plans for last night's episode. Until 6 PM EST, there was no official direction or plan for the episode. One source who went through the process described it as "the loudest and angriest" they'd ever seen McMahon on a show day. Vince McMahon has become exactly what he's hated.... VINCE MCMAHON IS WCW IN 2021.

It just seems like Vince has been all over the place the last couple years. He normally changes his mind every few years but this like month to month at this point. Sign everyone! We cant let anyone go to AEW ... Ehhh I guess we could help them out by giving them a few names. BUDGET CUTS ... Resign Brock for another 8 matches. AEW is not competition ... TRIPLE H LOST THE WAR!! GUT NXT!! NO MORE INDIE WRESTLERS ... Why is Omos so green? The way I see it, is that although AEW beating NXT didn't do the brand any favors , I think Vince revamping NXT is more of a response to NXT alumni not being the best fits on the main roster, regardless of whose to blame. Correlation between NXT to the main roster would be a great improvement, one of the biggest problems is they keep changing their minds if its a third brand developmental or both.

One of the stranger things you sort of realize is that, well, Vince likely has final say over signings, right? So you’d have thought if he gave enough of a damn, he’d look at the people coming in and go “Paul, I don’t know what to do with these guys” and stop him from signing them. Like, it feels easier said then done but Vince also doesn’t seem like a guy where stuff happens without him getting the final approval of anything.

For example, big guys are to Vince like what fast guys were to Al. I’ve always thought of Vince has a mix of Al Davis and Jerry Jones. He’s stuck in a time warp like Al was and won’t give up control of anything like Jerry.

At this point it's more surprising when the creative is thoughtfully planned out and not constantly being changed throughout the show.

AEW had to audible last week due to some positive COVID tests. The show ended up being still fun. The absence of some stars or a HUGE match showed. But the show still felt like AEW.
The stark difference to how they call an audible to their show and rewrite something and how WWE will respond to rewriting things with HEALTHY wrestlers ready to go... is absolutely horrifying.
This isn't me trying to make it a AEW vs WWE thing either... but when you hear shit like Vince rips up scripts multiple times, wants new ideas, and then REJECTS all of them and just goes with his ideas anyway with less than an hour to go until showtime and then DURING the show? What an absolute f***ing mess. It shows just how different backstage is between a company that actually has give and flow with its wrestlers and staff and one that is literally catering to a 70 plus year old psychopath.
It amazes me RAW even functions every week. Like genuinely I can't believe we haven't had a RAW where shit just collapses and the show falls apart, we are getting dangerously close after that Charlotte/Nia match.
