I didn’t love the 2016 Ghostbusters movie, and I didn’t think it was horrible either. It was the most generic, average and okayish summer action comedy that ever okayed.
Walker in Point Blank isn’t dead. It’s just a weirdly directed movie.

Spider-Man Homecoming is an ungodly boring slog with Vulture being the only character who's even kind of likable. And extending from that Tom Holland is just an absolutely terrible actor, he has one mode and it's annoying baby voice at all times in all contexts.
For that matter the only good Spider-Man movies period (though not seen Far From Home so maybe it counts too) are Amazing 1 and Into the Spider Verse. And I'd probably rather watch Spider-Man 3 than the first one since at least it has something resembling a narrative instead of just being a bad remake of Batman.

I honestly liked some of the maligned and recent “twist” Disney villains. I thought the reveal in Frozen was clever, actually. Bellwether as the Zootopia villain made sense, it needed to be a cuter animal to meet the “don’t judge based on appearances” fable. And I saw the twist coming in Coco, but I still think it worked within the context of what they wanted to get across.
Jungle Fever is so bad. It’s held up as a Spike Lee classic, and I don’t get it, everyone is an idiot and so obnoxious. The soundtrack with Stevie Wonder is great, though. But otherwise, give me Inside Man instead.
Everything in Age of Ultron doesn’t work, but it’s still really entertaining. Maybe the worst Avengers movie, but that’s still strong company to be in.

Get Out was mediocre.
The Marvel movies are completely forgettable.
Cruella is a good film, spoiled by the fact that Disney wussed out on having Cruella actually kill the dogs. At the very least, it should have been left up in the air.
The Dark Knight is a good movie, but is wildly overrated. There are a TON of plot holes and nonsensical storytelling
Plotholes don't matter in comparision to tone, pacing, text and subtext. Lame internet critics made people think nitpicking is analysis.
That being said, the Dark Knight is still an wildly overrated movie. ^^
This used to show a picture of my Wife in the Mania 27 Crowd. The day we decided to get a divorce, the picture timed out. Thats some planned obsolescence for you.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I actually incredibly liked the battle in BD Pt 2)
It's a situation where they saw something in the book that was not satisfying to a lot of readers and actually made it work. Not going to pretend I have some great Twilight love or anything, it's still not my thing, but that was a great adaptation decision.
