Mad Max Fury Road was an average action movie. Saw it once in the theater and never cared enough to see it again. I think Mad Max was almost kinda in that one.

The Dark Knight is a good movie, but is wildly overrated. There are a TON of plot holes and nonsensical storytelling Plotholes don't matter in comparision to tone, pacing, text and subtext. Lame internet critics made people think nitpicking is analysis. That being said, the Dark Knight is still an wildly overrated movie. ^^ The Joker's plans at times are so convoluted that when you start to think about it, a bunch of what happened didn't t make sense

Quantum of Solace isn't a bad Bond movie. Needed to be cut down to an hour and added to Casino Royale though.

I really don't think that the 2019 Charlie's Angels movie is bad. Yes, you can talk about the "woke" subtext, but I don't think that the action was that bad. Kristen Stewart stole every scene she was in.

Not a fan of The Matrix. The characters are so dull.
Not a fan of Shrek, either. I just didn't find it funny. Shrek 2 was good, though. I even liked Shrek Forever After.

Hellboy (2019) was really not that bad and had some really spectacular scenes.
Movie was the victim of a bunch of critics slap fighting each other to see who could dunk on it the hardest.
On the flip side, Terrence Malick has never directed a good movie, but critics will continue to praise him endlessly because no one wants to be the first to say the emperor has no clothes.

I legit think Tarantino peaked with Reservoir Dogs. Pulp Fiction is a pop culture classic, but it's just too comedic/goofy to me.
Jackie Brown was boring and I legit hated Kill Bill, the 'look how many movies I've seen' self-congratulatory mixtape.

I prefer historical characters to be played by actors who aesthetically resemble them, either naturally or with make up and prosthetics.

Despite its reputation as one of the biggest flops of all time, I think Heaven’s Gate is fantastic. Beautiful cinematography and its subtext of racism and divisional wealth in America is still relevant today.
If it was made now and done as a HBO miniseries, it would be hailed as a masterpiece.

Don’t get me wrong Langella’s performance is great, but the fact he looked nothing like Nixon took me out the experience a bit.

The biggest flaw with the Rise of Skywalker isn't random Palps return, Rey's everything or all the other random bullshittery with Mcguffins.
It's the lack of Finn's progression. Felt like the table was set for Finn to either become the next great criminal-to-General like Han/Lando, or the next Jedi Hopeful, or the Leader of the Insurrection against the Empire.
Nope, just yells Rey and lot and charges a Star Destroyer with a horse. When one of the "Big 3 Heroes" just kinda does nothing it drags a lot down with it. At least Poe got a quick story arc with his past and picking up a real leadership role, and facing full failure for significant screen time at the end. Even Finn's shining moments were blink-and-you-miss-it.
And OHMSS is the best Bond movie.

Speaking of Bond, I think I like Octopussy way more than most of the fanbase.
It flips with me for From Russia With Love, where I still enjoy it but Thunderball and Goldfinger blow it away.

I've been convinced that most of the hate for Octopussy is because it's called Octopussy. I mean like... don't call anything Octopussy! Unless you actually got 8 of them vagina thingies. Then you get the Octopussy Pass. Makes you wonder... was Pentapussy just not enough pussy and Decipussy is just an outright absurd amount of pussy?

Said about ten times that if he had been the main character of the sequels and gone on to be trained by Luke, the series would be much better received.

I didn’t love the 2016 Ghostbusters movie, and I didn’t think it was horrible either. It was the most generic, average and okayish summer action comedy that ever okayed. Walker in Point Blank isn’t dead. It’s just a weirdly directed movie. I've been tempted to watch that movie lately for some reason. It had been three years since I last watched it, but I had seen it a total of nine times (four of which were in theaters; I'm serious). I guess I liked it enough to see it multiple times.
