Not what you would think, but Bad Boys for Life would have worked as the fourth film with that kind of title and that it would have been better if the third film had come out sooner. I also felt that that one twist/revelation had some plot holes regarding the timeline. I still enjoyed the movie, though.

Some slasher takes Friday the 13th part 5 is not the worst film in this franchise, people really just like to shit on it for the killer being {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Roy Burns but it works for this series Jason takes Manhattan would be a huge fan favorite if you just change the name. Ngl it's a ton of fun seeing Jason on the high seas plus the 45ish min in NY is an absolute joy The worst Friday the 13th is part 9 Jason goes to hell; after the first scene where the United States government obliterates Jason its all downhill boring kills, boring story, boring characters, you rarely see Jason since he's body snatching and the worst part is the stupid bloodline bs. Rob Zombie's Halloween wasn't terrible for what it was, plus I really liked the Loomis casting of Alex DeLarge. On Halloween, Michael Myers is a terrible slasher. The mask is iconic and if someone was trying to kill you wearing that you'd shit yourself but that's where the praise ends. Once you get over the mask he's not intimidating, for the majority of the lore he is just a guy which compared to Jason or Freddy doesn't measure up nor does he measure up to the other just regular people murderers like Leatherface. And Myers just comes across as a giant goof, go watch the films again and be amazed watching this serial killer stumble around never moving faster than a leisurely stroll through the park, where they'll have him be the victim of 3 stooges style slapstick

I loved the twist in Iron Man 3. Bare in mind I don’t read comic books and only watch the movies. I understand the backlash it got from comic book fans though 100% but I never saw the twist coming.
The alternative option though….yeah I get why people thought that was lame.
I also thought Black Panther was boring…and that seems like a common opinion amongst people I’ve spoken to in person about it.

Christopher Nolan is a gimmick director whose movies get a little worse each time you watch them. BRAVO NOLAN

I know more people are coming around to it, but I never thought Last Action Hero was that bad. It’s actually a really clever satire, and I didn’t find the Danny kid that annoying compared to other kiddie sidekicks. Plus you got Charles Dance just acting a fool.

Last Jedi is neither terrible trash, nor a brilliant masterpiece. It's an okayish SW movie with some interesting ideas, but with a script that really needed a few more drafts to better execute what it was going for.
YouTube essays and hyperbolic memes aside, time will be a relatively kind to the Hobbit trilogy. The padding and special effects will get hit with criticism, but in comparison to various other major franchise derailings, they'll likely settle into being seen as solid, but clearly flawed movies.
Zack Snyder is an effective director when doing straight adaptations and remakes. Even with Legends of the Guardians and its issues, it still for the most part works and demonstrates that he can excel when his self indulgences are a bit more restrained by an actual base story.
The flaw of Iron Man 3 is not the twist (which is well done), It's that Killian is ultimately just a lame villain, especially for Tony's final solo film.
For all the grief that the Jennifer Lawrence version of Mystqiue gets, the Rebecca Romijn version is not that much better, as neither version has effectively captured the nuanced nature of her character, nor some of her most interesting dynamics (namely the relationships with Destiny, Rogue, & Nightcrawer).
Last Crusade is better than Raiders of the Lost Ark. The villain's weaker, but the script gets more effective comedy and drama out of Indy and Henry Jones' relationship and its overall tighter story.
More superhero films would benefit from being period pieces. A Batman film set in the 40s would be especially inspired.
Terminator Salvation should get more credit for at least trying something different with the franchise and actually making something out of the future war concept, even if its handling of the idea is decidedly mixed.

I feel like more people would have been ok with the twist if the actual bad guy didn't suck eggs so hard. Cause like you said it was a good twist that most people didn't see coming

I've never really cared about movies closely following the source material. Some of the best ones don't.

I fell asleep during Avengers Endgame and have not had any desire to watch it again.
As a general statement, I have no issue with spoilers. In fact, I like them as it makes me pay more attention as to how well they set up whatever the ending is. If I hear a movie has some twist ending, I immediately go to wikipedia to see what it is.

Kevin Smith films peaked at Mallrats.
Chasing Amy and Dogma were okay, but since then he’s just been recycling stuff.

Shakespeare in Love was an all around better movie then Saving Private Ryan and it deserved the Best Picture Oscar.

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I’m slowly working my way through the movies in the AFI Top 100 I haven’t seen and I can’t understand how a most of these are on here. I doubt you could find ten people who own or watch most of these on a regular basis.

Not gonna lie, Friday the 13th 5 is one of my favorites in the bunch. I honestly didn't really like it at first, but it's grown on me over the years It's got some of the franchise's most memorable characters, and there's something that just feels so sleazy about it compared to the rest of the movies in the series that makes it a blast to watch

Tommy already emotionally damaged from the events of 4 becomes incredibly paranoid after having to deal with a copycat leading him to dig up Jason so he can destroy the dead body and try to move on from the trauma. No part 5 means no undead Jason which is the Jason most associated with the series. I'd say the only thing I really didn't care for in a new beginning was the child sidekick who tags along with Tommy

I doubt you could find ten people who own or watch most of these on a regular basis. Because things that were popular or influential don't always hold up over time. Example people can argue if the Beatles are/were overrated, but what you can't argue with is that they're one of the most influential bands of all time so they'll always be regarded as popular and among the time greats. Same goes for film and TV. And I think the other reason for movies at least is all of the classics have been soaked into pop culture for so long that we know the best parts without having to see them. Look at scarface, everyone remembers the coke and the last scene where he's just high af having his last stand. And you'd never have to see the movie to know what it's about or how it plays out because it's been mentioned and done to death a million times since making these films now seem boring as hell.

Dracula: Dead and Loving It is a perfectly fine Mel Brooks comedy. It was great to finally get Leslie Nielsen in a Brooks film, there's lots of funny moments, and it's less dated than Men in Tights (which I also love, but was full of early 90s references).

Snyder’s Justice League is the only comic book movie to feel like a graphic novel brought to life and for that I’d say it’s the perfect comic book film. More than any of Marvel or DC’s previous efforts. The movie just FEELS like an actual comic book in the best way possible.
