nobody alive as seen every film ever made, but there was a time that people where alive that had seen every movie ever made If you mean people were alive when no films were made or when literally the first film was made, sure. However, it quickly became impossible to have seen every film that had been made. The Lumiere Brothers company alone sent out filmmakers around the world to create essentially mini films, amassing about a thousand films in five years.

Yeah I meant literally after the first film was made, so it's technically true though it didn't last long

Movies are a bunch of still images in rapid succession giving the illusion of movement.

Everyone saw Avatar. Especially those who claim they didn't Never seen it. Saw the trailers and they held no appeal to me. But then there is a pile of films it surprises people I have never seen. Breakfast Club-I was born in 74. Until 3 years ago I had never seen this movie. Top Gun-Still haven't seen this. Batman Returns-Avoided it since before it came out I had gotten a copy of the original Sam Hamm Script. Figured there was no way Burton could make something as good as that script.
