As an average person who isn't famous? My boss would likely never see it. Yeah, you’d think so. But as a geek who cost himself a job by going off on The FaceBook you’d be shocked how quickly shit gets back to the boss. It’s not a good f***ing idea if you’re a geek working at a campground, fry cook at McDonald’s or what. Shit gets back to the boss and it’s a piss poor idea to rant on social media. Uh, I don't care about social media to ever "go off" on it and wouldn't date the type of person who would. But yes I agree, bosses sometimes pay attention to your social media. And sometimes if your boss finds out your spouse is a serial killer or sex offender that can work against you. Pretty sure most people don't get in trouble because their spouse said they deserve a promotion. Some of y'all are tripping like you're head of talent relations for AEW. Like, I just realized how f***ing stupid this exchange is.

So you’re saying you wouldn’t date me? F***. I date women, so no. Well it was an admittedly piss poor joke on my part. But I was hoping you’d see the humour in it. Because you said you’d never date someone who went off on Facebook and I’ve gone off on Facebook and you could see how there’s a sorta joke to be made there but I just shit the bed in my attempt apparently.

I don't have my real name on any social media to avoid this, but it is horseshit that I have to.
If I clock our at 5 and am drunk by 5.05 but show up to work the next day capable to do my job, what I do in my own time is none of my employer's business, including moaning about them. If it isn't in a professional environment, I am not a representative of the company, and the fact that I would be considered such is BS. My personal life and opinions are irrelevant to how I present myself in the office. But hey, social media ruined everything.
Also publicly saying you think you are being misused when you are a public figure is a totally different thing, but Brian is being very careful to not quite do that.

I don't blame a wife for thinking her husband is the best, or even Cage for thinking that too. But you should approach any complaints you have in a responsible way. Bitching on Twitter is not a good look for anyone. I've known people fired from a corporate job for complaining about their manager on social media, too. Probably realised another Cage push isn't going happen before it reached point of complaining on social media

He lost to them every time and they bitched him out on the mic without him getting much answer, so, like... no duh the feud helped them and hurt him?

You aren't kidding. Starks gets over with his commentary even while injured, Hobbs gets over with his matches, Hook barely says three words on television and gets over. Poor Brian Cage.

Cage is over when he wrestles and does crazy shit. The unfortunate opposite to that is the dude can't cut a promo to save his life or at least hasn't so far.

The abrupt, out of nowhere pileon of hatred for Cage in this thread because his wife thinks he should be used better is genuinely remarkable. The contrast between it and, say, when Cage beat Hangman might well be mistaken for two entirely different forums.

I wouldn't say it's out of nowhere (people have been making fun of his likely roid use since he was in TNA, at least). And it's more apathy than active dislike in my case.

That's true, and that may be Cage's biggest hindrance. When he came to AEW there was lack of big beefy bois with him, Archer, and Wardlow being about the only guys like that. Now AEW has such a big roster that he doesn't wrestle on a regular basis to show off. He doesn't even get that thing where Archer is shove randomly into different angles.

The contrast between it and, say, when Cage beat Hangman might well be mistaken for two entirely different forums. I would argue that people mocking Cage for his roid use and promo ability has been going on for years. Though the posts about his wife speaking out that he deserves better definitely woke them up from a slumber. Also just found it weird his wife would say that when he was shoot injured. Like the Starks feud stalled out because of Cage's knee. Not because of any booking woes.

Always known Cage was never going to be able to thrive the way he wants here because his whole act relies on him being able to stand out in some way.
in AEW he is just another hoss sad to say and hasn't really been given anything to sink his teeth into story wise from what I have seen.
