I did say the Eliminator Tournament seemed to be an avenue to get two people over, Ethan Page and Ricky Starks. With how things ended at rhe PPV I think Starks is getting a chance

Winter is Coming is going to have a World Championship and main event between two people from marginalized communities in MJF vs. Starks. It probably took too long to get there, but it's about time it did.

It's way too early for either Starks to win it or MJF to lose it, but I hope this match is the start of Starks being one of the top-tier guys that is always around the top of the card. Then he can hopefully challenge for it again (and win it, if he keeps on track) later.

And maybe my 20+ years of fandom has taught me wrong but usually wrestling promotions push people who get good reactions from crowds. Because, ya know, crowds are pretty important in that regard.

Lmao wild. Yeah I stayed far away from that small guys are not believable thread so I didn't know who posted what.

But yeah Ricky is awesome and will have a banger feud with MJF. Both match and promo work should be amazing

Did you watch Dynamite? Do you watch the shows? The responses that Ricky gets are exactly why he’s being used like he’s being used. There’s room for all three guys in the main event, anyways.

Do more than look at pictures or clips, it’ll do wonders.

He's not gonna win thr title at Winter is Coming, but it's kind of Ricky Starks country so he should get a great reaction and it's basically like Darby and Jungle Boy getting title shots. Highlight him and give him that test to see if he can carry the brand

There's a reason Starks draws comparisons to Rock in terms of how he presents himself. He has that ability to get the crowd in the palm of his hand, which is one of the most important attributes for a wrestler to have.
