Starks momentum got sucked away by the heat vampire, Chris Jericho. Huh? No it didn’t. That feud was over with the crowds, only lasted one ppv cycle, and Starks got put over big-time beating Jericho clean twice, winning the feud decisively. The actual problem was the follow-up booking. The Starks/White feud was ice cold prior to Collision, as it barely got any focus at all and was treated like complete filler. It kind of did, though. They insisted on pairing him with Action Andretti, and instead of bringing Andretti up closer to Starks' level, it dragged Starks down closer to Andretti's. |

A win over him means Jack shit right now Cole beat Jericho and immediately went into a World Title program, I'm sorry but this is just completely incorrect. And people have still been enjoying his feuds, the Eddie one I can agree ending wonky but Eddie's been just fine since and given Starks beat Punk recently too I'd say he's also well back on track. Not everything is gonna knock it out of the park but Jericho seems to be very aware he's winding down. |

Starks lost momentum as a face due to booking, not the fans losing interest in him. I think he should stay a face but if being a heel pushes him up to main event level then I guess that’s a step forward. He has all the makings of a main event babyface. Also good on Punk for putting him over. I always laughed at his “I’m here for the young guys” quote during his debut as he proceeded to beat all of them over the next year. I don't think it has as much to do with Phil as much as the year they putzed up his face turn. Even if that is the motivation, Starks winning clean would’ve done a lot more for him, and Punk turning heel would be a bit more bearable than the “love him or hate him…” mid-2000s Cena shit they’re doing with him. Nothing has even officially happened yet with this story so I'm gonna wait until they actually play it out until I call it "Pants on head" shit tbh. Starks getting that win mattered and it's not gonna be taken away from him and given the numbers, Punk vs Starks no matter who is what alignment looks like it's gonna draw if it goes forward. |

I don't think Ricky got screwed over by the Jericho feud like Kingston did but I do think he got lost in the shuffle same with Hobbs (though I do think we can admit QTV with him was a bad decision... though I find QTV amusing now).
Both are getting focus on Collision which is good. Same with Willow. Honestly they just need to follow through with taking these guys and girls to the next level

I think Ricky hit a ceiling as a face. I like the guy and he's been solid in this role but I don't think he had stepped up in a way to get the kind of over you see with guys like Eddie and Hangman. Often going heel and rising to another level is the best way to become the super face you want to be.

If they actually decide to push Ricky as a heel, I'd have him take a cue from Owen and carry that belt/cup around with him everywhere he goes like Owen with the 2 Slammys

That promo they did together on the ramp was absolutely awful, more from AA but still left me cold on both of them. I don't think he fit with the middle aged rebels either.
