What's up Max we missed you Wait, is that poster Kneelift?? I think we're just making jokes about them because they have "Knee" in their name, and Max Landis' YouTube username is "uptomyknees".

The run itself was mixed for me but all things considered Swerve held up his end of the bargain doing what he could as champion and delivering in the ring
Doubt it will be his last championship run. BUT as been said, you need more. He was a starting point but don't stop there

Pandemic releases were ruthless but they seemed to not be racially motivated just looking at the lists of releases.

With the Hurt Syndicate coming to AEW, they have a huge opportunity to add way more black wrestlers to the main event scene.
I hope they do so.

EJ may be finessing himself on to TV here too (even though he makes good points) as Tony Khan values loyalty. Instead of signing an ageing Shelton on top of an ageing Lashley, have Lashley mentor a hungry group of Hobbs and LeeJ (EJ & Lee Johnson).
Alternatively, maybe LeeJ is the team Stokely is headhunting for the tag division (if they haven't dropped that already).

Im pretty sure even if Shelton's in the group, there are still gonna be like two or three more guys in the group on top of it. For tag and trios purposes.

Shelton is at the point of his career where he's happy mentoring and putting younger guys over. And for a guy near 50 years old, he's in ridiculously good shape.

He can still work and he'll take most of the pins, he'll be used well for that role while other members of the group get more wins and focus Every faction needs those fall guys.

I could see Shelton being someone that would be in the group but maybe kicked out after a period because he's the weak link, as I'd imagine he'd be the designated pin eater for one thing, and replaced with someone younger and moved into a lesser role, perhaps one more behind the scenes.
It should definitely be a group used to elevate some guys, but I don't think having some older guys around necessarily stops that happening. MVP seems like someone that will be able to get his guys over for one thing.

Pandemic releases were ruthless but they seemed to not be racially motivated just looking at the lists of releases. He was released for standing up to Drake Younger, who was wearing his WWE NXT branded apparel to certain Campaign rallies.

Bobby Lashley could become the first wrestler to win the WWE, TNA, and AEW Championships.
