Todd thread might be the best ever. I've been friends with Todd online for over 20 years and he is a really great guy! With that being said, I did think of that thread for this "insane threads" because I was sure someone would post it but honestly...I don't think that thread should be necessarily classified as insane. Tammy was about 40 at the time, not exactly old, she was still amazingly sexy and she was years away from being in jail so I get why 1990s fans might want to do a bed photo op with her. Heck, Tammy at the time was younger than Sable looked in her prime in 1997/1998. In 1997/98 Sable looked as old as Linda McMahon actually was at the time!

Can anyone come up with a link to the thread that originated the "Kane comes out and burns all his clothes in a trashcan" meme? I think it was some guy spitballing about how Ric Flair's retirement angle should go. That guy came up with a lot of "entertaining" posts around that time, I'd love to read back some of them. Edit: Found it. Enjoy! officialfan.proboards.com/thread/174047/kane-ric-flairs-career

I took a break from wrestling around 2013 and didn’t visit the forum. I knew a little about Todd before I clicked on the thread for the first time yesterday but it has definitely provided me with a ton of laughs! Even though 90% of the pictures had broken links, it was still great! The comments about Sunny were just as good as the ones about Todd

It’s a shame most of the links don’t work anymore, because when they did, Kane Taking A Dump was hysterical.

The WWE board in early 2014 (basically the Bryan argument) was quite special but is bested summed up in the WrestleMania wager thread, where people bet on Bryan winning or not winning the title at WrestleMania 30. The thread was started by Magic in November 2013 when it looked increasingly unlikely (that's when Bryan was jobbing to the Wyatts and Big Show got the main event), people picked sides, and the mood flipped one way or another before going entirely pessimistic post-Rumble. And then suddenly on March 11th the entire mood of the forum changed after one RAW and the reaction was "Holy shit, he's going to do it!" And he did. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/484472/official-daniel-bryan-wager-thread(Page 12 is when the Mania stips changed.)

I know I posted a lot of links already, but I think these deserve a mention: The website selling bootleg WWE merchandise from the Ukraine, which inspired FAN to create its own SMITH shirt. At one point, the website’s owner registered here and talked to us! officialfan.proboards.com/thread/378570Not wrestling-related, but remember when we lost the board for 14 hours? The mods had to practically beg Proboards to put it back online. officialfan.proboards.com/thread/453614/updates-minutes

Man, I remember this thread (and others like it). It got to a point where I was enlisted by one of the admins to keep track of the downtime so they could report back to Proboards. The infamous Backup Wench was easily the biggest heel in FAN history.

Would the Smackdown spoilers thread where Orton beat Christian 3 days after Christian won the world title count as insane?

It’s a shame most of the links don’t work anymore, because when they did, Kane Taking A Dump was hysterical. Yeah, that was one of the first ones I thought of too, but so much of it is dead image links now that you really had to be there at the time to appreciate it.

Wasn't there a poster here who kept making posts/threads about Richard Simmons? Can anyone come up with a link to the thread that originated the "Kane comes out and burns all his clothes in a trashcan" meme? I think it was some guy spitballing about how Ric Flair's retirement angle should go. That guy came up with a lot of "entertaining" posts around that time, I'd love to read back some of them. Edit: Found it. Enjoy! officialfan.proboards.com/thread/174047/kane-ric-flairs-careerI wasn't around when this thread was made, but I still love referencing it anyway.
