Without question their is brain damage there He is just at a point now where people are done with him tho the scary thing is without anyone "supervising" him does he completely go left off the deep end Which is my concern. I stopped watching the NFL for 5 or so years because I just couldn't stomach what was happening to the guys I watched growing up, and in particular the damning things coming out about the league covering it up. They need to be proactive about this stuff, and if it's not related to his brain, then let him implode in retirement. But they absolutely owe it to these guys to do the legwork. Who’s the say the league and his previous teams haven’t tried to get him the help he needs ? It’s a two way street imo and yes the league should take the lead due to the resources they have available but in this AB needs to meet them half way and it’s been reported that the Bucs offered him counselling before they cut him but he released those texts and they said enough.

I mean, teams shouldn't be involved in it anyway. It shouldn't be we'll get you counseling if you're on the team or if you're in good standing with Bruce Arians or Tom Brady. There should be a department in the league that handles these things in both active and retired players. You think he's an asshole, and I'm not disagreeing. But I think it's a more nuanced issue than that. And I don't really think I'm going to convince you of that, so I'm just gonna move on.

Vic fangio has been fired by Denver according to Ian Rapoport. not a massive shock but if Melvin Gordon had held onto the ball maybe he’d have at least made it to tomorrow.

the Bears job isn't quite as dire as most people make it out to be I think
the defense is pretty good... but is way overworked and Justin Fields to me looks like the real deal, and he needs a lot of help from that crap around him
but... once Matt Nagy is fired today, unless Ryan Pace is shown the door too I can't see any good coach wanting the job

Minnesota expected to fire Mike Zimmer and as said before Nagy is expected to be gone from Chicago

That's a good job otherwise. Chicago and Jax have their QB and Vegas has pieces. Denver is one of the more competitive teams today, but I wouldn't want that job. A lot like the Pacers in the NBA; just a straight in-between team who is going to languish in mediocrity.

Giants most likely will be added to this situation and that is a whole diff mess but a fixable one if they get a star QB

I am so freaking happy Matt Nagy is gone. However, if they keep Ryan Pace, that really throws cold water on that. Because I don’t trust him at all in hiring another coach.

The Dolphins fired Brian Flores in what is imo an extremely head scratching move
He's gonna immediately fill a vacancy somewhere else.

According to Adam Schefter, The Bears also fired GM Ryan Pace.
To that I say….

Flores getting fired is one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen. Got this team two straight winning seasons when the roster was a mess. Players clearly loved playing for him. They never gave up this season. If I'm any of the other teams with an opening, I hit him up. Hell, if I'm the Patriots, I do whatever it takes to get him back as our Defensive Coordinator.

It's ridiculous that the Dolphins fired Flores and say GM Chris Grier is safe, if anything it should have been the other way around.

It's ridiculous that the Dolphins fired Flores and say GM Chris Grier is safe, if anything it should have been the other way around. They had three first round picks in 2020, all of whom are on track to be busts…but the GM that picked them is somehow safe.

Pace is gone.... but the McCaskeys/Phillips are making the ultimate decisions on GM/Coach, so forgive me if I play the wait and see with regards to whomever they hire.

Flores being canned must be some internal strife.

I didn't think there was a chance that clown Joe Judge would still be around, but here we are.
