As I progress through my second playthrough I see the error of not focusing on trying to progress the confidant level of the twins. Lockdown is SOOOOO nifty. Combine that with maxing the Sun confidant, meaning that you swim in yen and can afford to recall personas constantly…..only to keep sacrificing them to strengthen the persona that you want to max out. It’s so convenient if you want an endgame collection of personas that make Joker nigh invincible.

I beat the ship last night but didn’t have the time to continue even through I only have a few days of the year left. And I have only just found out what the gym does… I feel that would of been more useful a long time ago. I also only just tried to make Arsene useful (all his weakness null, plus psychical. a move that debuff’s my opponents attack, defence and evasion. A buff for his next psychical attack, a multi foe psychical attack and a one foe psychical attack) and I was wondering if anyone had any really cool Persona builds As I progress through my second playthrough I see the error of not focusing on trying to progress the confidant level of the twins. I'll pick up Persona 4 Golden on day of release probably and then Persona 3 later. I'm not a fast gamer because I don't always have the time, so by the time I'm done with 4 there will probably be discounts and sales on 3.

Oh yeah, Velvet Room alarms, money readings, the Sun confidant, Ryuji's one-hit kill, and Mementos stamps collectively make it stupid easy to max out Personas. Toward the end of my second playthrough I was matching out things like Satan and Arsene pretty much entirely because I could and had already done ones I was actually using like Lucifer, Maria, Yoshitsune, and Alice. |

I already got P4G on Steam, so I'm really just buying P3P. Just not sure of the platform yet, since it's not like I'm lacking for options between Steam, PS4, and Switch.

P4G is a must buy, I'm avoiding P3P. Hate that version lol. But it'll instantly go to the backlog since I've already beat it.

Persona 3 Portable is my favorite version of the game. You lose the cutscenes, but being able to control your teammates in battle is worth the trade.

One thing I never figured out was how to even form a deal with Haru. I found her on the roof but never could form a deal.

Some videos floating around showing off gameplay of the Switch port. Looks like a very quality port, the worst issue I've seen is some mild flickering on Arsene's face in a cutscene and other than that been perfectly fine and I didn't see a load time worse than like 5 seconds.

Embarrassing to admit, but it wasn’t until the final dungeon on my first NG+ that I realized that you could select which shadow you negotiate with if you hold up multiple ones. I’d have done a quicker job filling up my registry had I known that earlier (as it is I still have about 13% left to go. Imma grind in the final dungeon in order to afford to do it.

Money Reading plus Mementos stamps plus Ryuji's instant kill together basically make lategame money grinding a pretty much entirely automated process. I grinded up a bunch of Personas to having 99 in every stat on my New Game Plus run and even with the constant fusions I was pretty much always maxed out on money in between Velvet Room alarms. |

I'm still sad that you can't just pay off the 3 million yen "debt" to Kaneshiro in NG+ when you're balling. Granted, it'd break the narrative of the game, but it would be funny.
