Only ones related to 5 are that, Strikers, and Q2. And I guess if you feel like counting it the Catherine: Full Body DLC. What in the world is Q2? I've not played them or even seen gameplay, just seen them talked about in timeline videos. But I do kinda know of them Persona Q was a crossover game between the Persona 3 and 4 characters on the 3DS and Persona Q2 was a squeal that includes the Persona 5 characters. From what I can gather them and the dancing games are canon but none of the main characters remember anything after the games.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is a dungeon crawler for the Nintendo 3DS. Everything’s in chibi form and there is no English dub for the game. It also features the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable.

So it’s canon that Futaba not only crushes on Joker HARD but also wants fondle Makoto’s ass and Ann’s boobs. She’s a mix of Ryuji and Haru. Btw, I was not prepared for Haru being absolutely and noticeably crushed if you don’t romance her. Everyone else takes it so much better to one degree or another (from Futaba being confused but accepting that her obvious crush is just strong, friendly feelings that she has simply never experienced before to Sadayo’s seeming relief that Joker isn’t going to tempt her). Actually, speaking of Kawakami, she’s portrayed differently in the anime, isn’t she?

It's kind weird that they from what I have seen said the crossover games (the Persona 5 and 3 dancing games are apparently crossovers as well even if the characters only interact off screen) are some how canon, and a part from the Arena games all end with everyone forgetting everything. Even weirder that some like Q2 are set during the main game as Akechi is apart of the phantom thieves in his white crow costume I used a guide to make sure I maxed out everyone and got max social stats. And that guide left Haru as the last confident to do (Before it moves into the Royal only story). I basically crushed her then took on the final boss. Honestly if I got to her sooner I feel like I may of tried to romance her or Makoto. I have yet to start the anime and no very little about it other then it's meant to be kinda bad

Don’t think it was meant to be bad on purpose, it just turned out that way.
I think the main thing most people liked about the anime is that they added Makoto’s sister, Sae as a love interest in the Valentine’s Day episode.

So instead of only the "true endings" being canon, the other endings go off into different timelines and realities. It's how Persona 5 Strikers and Royal can both be canon even though they're not really compatible with each other. Also lets Atlus answer the question of "Which of these radically different endings in a Shin Megami Tensei game is the real one?" with "Yes."

So….did the anime go the harem route? Yes. That’s the scene you get if you skip all dates and hang out with Ryuji and Boss. That’s what they had him do?

I know about the brunching stuff from digging and looking up the timelines. But I do also know there only seems to be two branches off the timeline Persona is on (Which also includes If and the Devil Summoner series, and maybe Catherine as the main character of that is in 3 and Joker is dlc for the remake). The first being the time travel at the end of the first p2 game to set up the second and the other being the female Persona 3 main characters time line (Also did you know she is not the first LGBTQ+ character in the series? Tatsuya Suou the main character of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment only gets three romance choices in his game but one of them is another male. Yeah I've ended up watching a lot of videos on the Megaten games and Persona timelines) The rest seem to just fit into one time line with the upgraded versions replacing the originals. Which does have the whole how does Strikers work as coming after Royal with them not mentioning anything about Royal. But apparently this has kind of happened before with Persona 4's sequel Arena and Gold which came out in the same year. Arena didn't reference Gold but when they released Arena's sequel Arena Ultimax they added Marie from Gold making Gold canon to the Arena games when they were not before. But if they retroactively do the same with Royal and Strikers I guess we will find out. I picked the word canon poorly in what I said before. My confusion was why are these crossover games in the main timeline when none of the cast of the games get to remember they happened

Just turned on the Switch version, preload's unlocked in North America for anyone else with it, and watching the Colors Flying High intro with some fresh eyes I feel conflicted on it. It looks very flashy and colorful and the song's good, but I think it really just isn't nearly as memorable as Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There.
Kind of the same problem as Take Over vs. Last Surprise I guess.

Turns out the new ports removed the SMT Raidou DLC skins. Not exactly a huge deal, and certainly understandable given the issues with Imperial Japan, but doesn't hurt to let people know in case they liked those ones.

That's a shame since the Raidou skins were just 1920's school uniforms. And had a really cool battle theme associated with them.

I was watching Ye Olde Tube d’You and the video I was watching was interrupted by an ad for P5R for XBox One. It came across as a new thing. Is it actually new to XBox?

Until Persona 4 Golden got ported to Steam, the main games in the series were exclusive to Sony platforms except for a Japanese-only Windows port of the original game. Some of the side games like Persona 4 Arena had ports to the Xbox 360 and the Persona Q games were on the 3DS. But that's it.
If P3P being ported is successful, I hope that creates the possibility of the PSP remakes of the original game and P2IS getting ported too. Though I'm not holding my breath for that.

Am I the only one who imagines Morgana having the voice of Salem? I like Cassandra Lee Morris’s voice too much for that.

IS PSP getting ported would be a tease if they didn't translate the EP remake too. But I'd prefer ports of the Digital Devil Saga duology, myself.

Great soundtrack and a really interesting story and cast.
Maybe it was because it was hard even by MegaTen standards (seriously one of the main party characters had a weakness to status ailments, which is such a big handicap for that series lol). A port of the duology with adjustable difficulty would be really nice.
