Given who he is friends with, I severely doubt he is an outright racist, a dumb hick who has little understanding of the symbols and pain those things can cause, absolutely, but doubtfully a outright racist. And even then, Mark Calloway can be whatever he wants, I'm only interested in the character of the Undertaker who entertained me for decades. I can separate the two, and will still loook back with nostalgic fondness on his character, even if I now know the man appears to be a disappointing tool. What about that other Undertaker?

The shirt with all the other stuff posted about him suggests even if he's not a white supremacist, he's certainly white supremacist-adjacent.
If it was just the shirt in a vacuum, maybe you could make excuses that wouldn't fall completely flat. But my Jewish ass still wouldn't want to be anywhere near him out of fear of my life.
Has anything been posted except attire? A bike shop with questionable imagery, a blue lives matter shirt and a don’t tread on me hat? "Questionable imagery" my ass. The SS symbol is the most prolific Nazi symbol after the swastika.
Stop f***ing whitewashing this because the guy did cool tombstone piledrivers.

Taker should have teamed up with Doink at some point, forming Shit N' Giggles.

If we’re talking about bullying, how do we feel about Bruiser Brody when you have this: And not to mention now that we’re mentioning bikers we have an upcoming episode of Bruiser Bedlam, also has the name Bruiser and people like Lance Storm say he was a nice guy It's sad that Jose Gonzalez felt the need to do what he did but if it wasn't Jose, I think someone else would have killed Brody. Harley was 100% right. And the Jose/Brody situation was that Brody brutalized Jose in a match when Jose was a jobber in the 1970s and Jose held the grudge ever since. Brody is idolized, much like Undertaker but we as fans need to remember, it could easily be us who are assaulted by Brody or have our personal belongings destroyed or defaced by these guys working with Undertaker's blessing. Ron Simmons and Bob Holly are two of the nicest guys to fans but cross the line, try your hand as a wrestler without paying those dues and you're probably not going to like them very much.

If there's one thing the internet has shown me it's that a large amount of wrestling fans will look over horrible stuff as long as they're entertained by what these wrestlers and companies give them. These dudes can be punching babies and you got dudes overlooking it because somebody won a world title. People can be sexually abusing women and all of a sudden somebody doesn't believe it because they believe these people are truly great 100% of the day. You can get companies with diversity issues and apparently it's cool because people love what they see even though it's wrong. At the end of the day we gotta call it like it is.
These people are human like we are human and they have faults. Nobody is perfect especially in this fraternity-like business called professional wrestling. If they f*** up then they need to be held accountable. On all levels.
Taker, from the classic era, good ol Texas boy, loves certain imagery, come on now. This story shouldn't be surprising to anybody.

Who knows about Taker, but while pretty much everybody recognizes the swastika, I definitely know people who wouldn't know what SS represents.

Brody was also extremely tight with Meltzer which helped the way he was covered.

Swastika is one thing, the SS symbol is not nearly as recognizable to people. And I’d appreciate not being chastised and attacked personally. I have no problem calling wrestlers I enjoyed out for their personal issues when their views have been made clear as day (Hogan, Warrior, Jericho, etc.).

I'm going to step in here, that wasn't a personal attack and we're not getting into what is and isn't recognisable imagery for nazi's here and I wouldn't recommend googling to prove the point either way as that is not something you want in your search/internet history.

Do you, and all signs point to him not being the kind of guy I'd want to spend any time around, but this and a Blue Lives Matter shirt/don't tread on me hat/etc. isn't nearly enough for me to feel comfortable labeling him a white supremacist.

Off topic but the SS logo was used unofficially by some marines in Afghanistan (sniper scout) when the media found out the brass quickly told them to knock it off and grow up but when I read that it solved a puzzle from the show The Walking Dead. Daryl is shown riding a bike with the SS symbol on it which is odd as hes one of the good guys, of course its his brothers bike and Merle was known to be a racist (he got handcuffed to the pipe for racially abusing T-Dog) but also when we first meet Merle he's sniping walkers from a rooftop with precision and while handcuffed and delirious he tells himself a story about getting disciplined in the military. Quite a clever (if morbid/distasteful) easter egg.

All I’ll say is that if the best defense is “maybe he didn’t know about the meaning behind the SS logo on his shirt,” that’s not a strong argument.

Stuff like this would've absolutely crushed 5-year-old me who dressed up as The Undertaker for Halloween in 1993 and collected every action figure and magazine I could find that had his likeness. 33-year-old me who's more world-weary and battle-tested is extremely disappointed, but also not surprised.
